Long-time dancer and lesson-taker here, and I gotta say: yours is the best illustration I've encountered regarding dance frame. Most teachers describe it in theory (its function, etc.), with a brief illustration of the right way to keep frame, the dangers of letting your elbow get behind you, possible injuries, etc.; but your examples showing when frame is broken -- and the effects -- are really helpful to drive home the point. Would definitely appreciate more NC2S lessons from you!
I’ve seen a lot of variations on nightclub two step but yours makes it look smooth and beautiful. You break them down so well they are easy to learn with practice. I recommend trying the free month trial. It is worth the look.
That makes us so happy to hear! Seriously. We appreciate the kind words and are glad you’re enjoying X Dance. We’re always here if you need help with anything:-)
Searching for material for part 3 of a lesson for grade school - college age kids and this popped up as a top hit, spectacular demonstration of the moves and gives me some really cool stuff to teach! (I ran out of moves to teach after the first lesson, these kids are eager to learn!)
I love nightclub two-step. I love dancing and I miss it very much. I can't wait but I guess I'll have to until this virus thing is over. You guys do a great job on showing how to do some fantastic moves and basic structure. Thank you
Instead of straight walks on the third measure, another variation would be to send the follower around in a clockwise circular walk/wheel around the leader. Great video and fun combo for Nightclub.
@@countrydancex showing how to maintain our frame i found very helpful. I do find at times i'm either too close or to far from my partner. I think I might be trying too many moves too fast. so i think we'll focus on the basics, as she and I are both learning. we love to dance, and we both love your videos. but definitely yes, more nightclub 2 step videos please, forward and back!
My wife and I love all of your videos! More night club please! As a brand new dancer, I am trying to put all of the NC moves I’ve learned from you into a continuous dance. I’m using alot of brain power to actually dance in time while thinking about what to do next. I would be lost without you! Loved the bloopers reel btw😂.
When X Dance boot camp arrives in Denver this August, I want to get your tips for leading when you aren't familiar with a new partner and things like frame and connection are giving you trouble... Leading when your partner doesn't know the same moves. Right now the frequency of this situation limits my "want to" branch out with what I try to do.
You two have a good format. When my wife and I go dancing (here in Southern California) it's usually West Coast Swing, Nightclub two step, Country two step, with an occasional Waltz. IMO, if your target audience are those who are "trained up", you can never go wrong teaching elements of these four dances. We also dance Salon style Tango. However, that is a culture all its own, and would probably not be a good fit for your Channel.
That's good input. Thank you! Honestly, our target audience is easy. Filming these videos and posting them actually costs us money ... so we do what we like here hahaha! We teach all of the dances in our studios and that is how we support ourselves (we teach all of the country dances as well as ballroom and Latin). Thanks for joining us here and being part of our little community!
@@countrydancex I'm thinking about attempting salsa again, my problem is about halfway through my muscle memory takes over and I end up doing West Coast Swing. 😵 uggg!

That could work too. Strikes me as very “Open Cuban Walk” in Rumba.
Love to see more night club lessons
Will do!
Please give us more Nightclub Two Step. Ya'll are great!
Thank you! We’ll definitely do that :-)
I'm learning this now in real life, so many thanks for your videos

Haha! The ones we don’t show are the ones that make us look the most married.
Haha love the bloopers 🤣 and I ADORE NC2Step ... thanks for the pattern!
Those bloopers were just the "family friendly" ones. Hahaha! Thanks for being here with us :-)
More nightclub please.

Ken Olson totally get that. We only have 2 hands and 2 feet. There’s only so many things you can do with them!
I need this in my life. I am subscribed!
Ha! Well, welcome :-)
You stated the dance starts moving to the leaders right, I have studied many different teachers of NC2 and the leaders move to there left.
Yes more
