@@tuffy135ify"The correct term for the practice, however, is interpreting. AI is indeed changing the landscape quickly. While AI can translate languages at an impressive speed and accuracy, human translators bring cultural nuance and understanding that AI still can't fully replicate... for now. Your skills are valuable, and by embracing AI as a tool to enhance your work, you can find new opportunities and stay ahead.
I've been trying to translate some books using AI and it still sucks despite having all that huge database from English language. Im also a linguist, but I'll be happy if it'll reach a point in which you don't need to make additional adjustments after translation, although it seems impossible in some languages where the sentences are more abstract...

Being polite doesn’t cost a thing! And who knows, if Skynet ever takes over, maybe it’ll remember who was nice to it... 😉
@@TechyTricksAI in that case you should definitely check out 'rokos basilisk' if you haven't already!

@@Rheysno need because even if ai was to take over the world definitely not in our lifetime
That only will make people more lazy to learn languages. UK for example is a massive problem. We use technology in a way that only brings end to basic skills.. first example is calculator, even adults can do simple percentages or simple multiplications. Math teaches logical thinking and with less skills comes less logic. People’s, especially kids behaviour on the streets, perfectly reflect the level of this issue.
It is how you use it, u true and not at the same time. U can use your phone for great think, but many of us use it for instagram reels or posting some photos. I don’t say it’s bad, but we can do far more better thinks.

Wow, it's amazing actually
Absolutely! We're just scratching the surface of what AI can do. The future looks exciting!
Craziest mix of romanian italian ah 💀 this is cool tho
As an Italian, that voice doesn’t sound like my mom or my sister. It does sound like she’s from Singapore

Bro, the laugh before "certainly, yes"👀
Did you catch that too? It's fascinating how AI can mimic human nuances, even giggles. Makes you wonder what else it can do! 👀
Perfetto 😅
We tried this at work today. Worked very well between english, swedish and chinese but even AI struggles with Finnish 😂
Haha, Finnish is a tough one for everyone, even AI! 😂 But it's great to hear that it worked well with English, Swedish, and Chinese. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Which version of Chat gpt?
It's a joke or they may have tried with the slower voice mode and not the multimodal one. Currently, GPT-4o is only available in text mode. The voice mode is not available yet, and if you use the voice function in the app, it's still the older version. The new voice mode will be released soon, but we don't know the release date yet.
@TechyTricksA Where can I get old voice mode? any app?I
@@mohdghani7171 You can find the old voice mode in the ChatGPT app for mobile devices. It's available by clicking the headphones icon in the bottom right corner of the main screen.
Soon our cars will be able to talk and we can talk to them kinda like the sci fi movies of talking spaceships.
🚗💬 We're definitely getting closer to that sci-fi reality where we can chat with our cars like in the movies. For those who remember, it's like we're all getting our own KITT from Knight Rider! The future is looking pretty wild and exciting.
Here’s the real facts. With dumb phones you know where to find the answer, you don’t know the answer.
Translation means in writing, interpreting is for speaking :)
No, translating is literal word for word. Interpretation is translating, then taking into account cultural differences and coming up with the closest approximate phrasing that best conveys the message and tone.
@@tuffy135ify"The correct term for the practice, however, is interpreting. To put it simply, this is the most fundamental difference between the two professions: A translator is a linguist who ‘transfers’ written content from one language to another language. An interpreter is a linguist who ‘transfers’ verbal content from one language to another language."
That is incredible!
IT GIGGLES?????

ChatGPT: a friend? You don’t even speak the same language you’re barely strangers
Name of the device they are using and a purchase link? Thanks!
The device being used in the demo is a standard mobile device running the ChatGPT app. You can download the ChatGPT app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. This voice mode feature will be available in future updates.
@@TechyTricksAI Thank you!
Chat gpt with Jarvis voice would be lit.
Is it just me or does the bot sound like Scarlett Johansson
Doesn't sound annoying, so nope
Scarlett Johansson is suing OpenAI for using her voice without her consent so that's ironic lol
Then it's Lucy (iykyk)
It’s the ai from the movie “her” with Scarlett Johansson that they’re replicating.
I LOVE this!!
The new AI features are definitely exciting, and there's so much more to come. Stay tuned for even cooler updates!

The 5 year which took me to get my bachelor's degree in English language is gonna be worthless real soon. No one needs a translator if AI is this fast and this much accurate. I am little sad but blown away too. Incredible technology.
@@TechyTricksAI Thank you 🤝
Wish you all the best with AI. Its amazing. 👍
Ai can never replace humans as interpreters....
because of emotion it can never replace of humans
I've been trying to translate some books using AI and it still sucks despite having all that huge database from English language. Im also a linguist, but I'll be happy if it'll reach a point in which you don't need to make additional adjustments after translation, although it seems impossible in some languages where the sentences are more abstract...
I chat all the time with chat gpt to improve my Spanish and it has been working very well!
That's fantastic! Using ChatGPT for language practice is a great way to improve your skills. It's like having a language tutor available 24/7! With the current version, you're already seeing great results, but just imagine how much better it will be with the new version coming soon!
@@TechyTricksAI it's very cool! I wish I could get the premium version but so far, it has been enough to learn grammar, vocabulary, slangs and whatsoever. Sometimes I even practice writing and it corrects me haha I love it 💜
Actually, what you refer to as the premium version is the upcoming GPT-4o voice mode, which will be available for free to everyone. It might be released to subscribers first, but eventually, it will be rolled out to all users, including those with free accounts. Stay tuned!
Im italian and im wondering why chatgpt talks italian using an english accent and not like a native italian
Because that would be breaking character.
Friday, you have competitor here! We need Jarvis back
Yo, that giggle was on point
A passport bros best friend😂😂😂😂
That is awesome
unless you work as an interpreter
As an Italian this killed me 💀 the pronunciation on both parts made me cry
I totally get what you mean, but for the purposes of the demonstration, it’s understandable to accept a foreign accent. The Italian is more than comprehensible, even with a strong accent. Personally, I don’t find it hard to understand. What matters is that the message gets across clearly, and in this case, the accent doesn’t take away from the effectiveness of the demo.
That was my creation. I invented that 20 yrs ago but couldn't seem to get the right people on board with me to bring it together. It was more a concept and a vision. Maybe someone i shared these ideas i had finally was able to getter done. God job
Does this App exist on Apple Store or Google Play?
Yep it’s called chatgpt
It’s also available on any browser. Just Google ChatGPT

This is the coolest application of AI I’ve seen
I'm looking forward to it being like in Cyberpunk with the translations, e.g. where you have live subtitles in your language for everything that's being said above the person speaking (via an Interface to your eyes or brain).
What about all the expressions, idioms and nuances that cannot be directly translated?
Neat. It does what google translate has done for years
Google translate is terrible.
It does it in real time with understanding context and conditions. Thats a big difference

Is this the paid version?
All you need is an account I think not sure if everything is implemented yet tho
You can use the free version but you have to download an app and there's a limit to how much you can talk in free version
Some of the features in all these demo videos are not even in the paid version yet. Hopefully, in the future updates
It’s the newest version of chatgpt and I think some features are free, but you’d have to pay to unlock all the features.
How did you implement it step by step?
