My son is a 68W combat medic. It took him 3 years before his soldiers gave him the title of Doc, and he is prouder of that than anything else. Love your channel and you earned my subscription today. Great job from a former Kentucky firefighter/EMT
Written with US Navy Veteran, Shaun Bott, a Navy corpsman (medic), who was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom and provided medical support for US Marine convoy operations, the emotional track pays tribute to all “Docs” that have served in each war and the hardships they have had to endure. Walker & Mcguire( their last names) work with CreatiVets getting their story out there!! 😢😮
Joey first of all a heartfelt thanks for your service. Your honesty and humility are touching and greatly appreciated. Too many people ignore, block out or just plain hide from the horrors our servicemen see and experience both whilst they are deployed and often times upon their return. My son was in the service in Afghanistan and my little boy returned a different man. I pray every day for our unselfish and truly patriotic folks in all branches. Please folks if you read this pause to reflect and say a prayer to whichever God you worship. Without these selfless humans and I do mean true humans none of us would be free to watch Joey, videos such as this or live the way we do. Sorry for the sermon and May God Bless you all.
Love how quickly you figured it out, brother. I was a Combat Medic in Afghanistan 09-10. I got lucky enough not to tell the ultimate lie, but, we had 4 brothers we didn't bring home. Thank you for mentioning the nightmares. I still battle with them 12 years later. There's more I could say, but you know how it is. Love you brother. 68W out. P.S. To you the job may have sucked, but, I wouldn't have wanted to do anything else.
It took you less than a verse to figure out what the song was about. Thanks. Don't let it spoil your day, live your life to the fullest for those who can't.
MAN! I don't know how I ended up falling on this video, but I served with you at Fort Hood! I was a combat engineer. Good to see you man, great reaction to a great song. Hope you are doing well! Walker McGuire consists of Jordan Walker and Johnny McGuire. Unfortunately, they split as a duo.
Hey man, yeah life has changed for me a lot. I left the army after 15 years due to RCP. My divorce is over and I now live in the Philippines full time. Check out my blog channel if you want UA-cam.com/@thewanderingkuya

Thanks for the reaction. Former title holder, and yeah it always gets me leaking. From one vet to another, thanks for your service. Doc
Once we earn that title we never lose it brother. From one medic to another. Wear it with pride.

Try worn these boots also from them. Worth a listen
If you love this version I highly recommend the cover by Aaron Lewis.
These are their voices. Not really edited. Look up the song with big d and Bubba. All their stuff was great
Can you please react to Still Breathing by Citizen Soldier?
