- This is a taste test/review of the chicken tenders and potato wedges from Chester’s. I also reviewed all five of their sauces which includes Honey Mustard, BBQ Sauce, Chester’s Sauce, Buffalo Sauce and Ranch Sauce.
* The tenders were $5.49 for 4 pieces.

These look really good! Honey mustard is almost always my choice for dipping… I like that a lot of fast food places are making chicken tenders and not just nuggets (with ground up meat)
Try the Honey Dill sauce. My fav, I cook Chester's in Canada
There is a Chester's in the gas station about a 1/2 block from mu old apartment. I used to walk down the alley and took me like 3 minutes to get there...4 if I took the sidewalk because it angles. I thought it was surprisingly good. Loved the wedges not the price. For some reason for a while our Pick N Save was selling Chester's Tenders out of their hot deli. I don't know if they had trouble getting supplies of their own which were much better. I'm still only about 10 minutes from where I used to live so kind of tempted to try them again. Thank you Kevin.
Used to have a Texaco station that served "Chester Fried Chicken" tenders and wedges. It was really good, but the Texaco station closed up around 2000. No more Chesters 😞

We have one in Bucksport, Maine. The wedges tend to vary greatly in size, sometimes you get one of those big chunky ones too. Roll of the dice! We have a box deal, you get 3 tenders and 4/5 wedges and a sauce for like $7? I like them a lot

Never had breaded potato wedges for like a good idea, can’t go wrong with carbs in carbs. Those tenders are as big as a full-size breast in 🇬🇧. Great crunch sound, definitely would try this, all looks good. Thanks for the regular Thursday outing. 👍🏻
You will get hooked on the flavor of the breading as it has spices in the chicken. Tenders get a different breading. Southland for tenders and Western for chicken breading. Chester's cowgirl chef in Canada

The sauces look like Lee's Famous Recipe sauces. Having said that, I believe that the honey mustard is probably more of a honey Dijon. That's what Lee's is and since you liked it, you should try Newman's Own honey mustard. It's very similar.
There was a Chesters down the road connected to a Love’s truck stop down the road from the Amazon I worked at in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Overpriced always. There also was a Subway. If I ever went there for lunch because I forgot to take mine, I always went to Subway if that tells you anything.
The chicken strips looked good, I agree that the potato wedges were on the small side. Lastly, the reason the buffalo sauce tasted like Frank's Red Hot is because traditionally Buffalo Sauce is made with Frank's Red Hot sauce.

I wish they would say honey Dijon mustard if that’s the flavor…bc when your kid likes honey mustard and is served honety Dijon mustard, it’s a let down

If you have a Krispy Krunchy Chicken in your area, their chicken blows Chester’s out of the water.
Oh I definitely agree with you there I love krispy Krunchy chicken it's got way more flavor unfortunately the nearest Krispy Krunchy chicken is about 2hrs away and there's only one in my state.
They have 3 in Lexington for him to choose from if he wants to do so in the future. Also Winchester, Versailles, Midway and Georgetown.

That food you ate is just another imitation of something better and something cheaper, so no thanks! Canes looks better, tastes better, sauce is better, and it’s cheaper. Everyone just wants to follow the leader, which is why so very few true good establishments exist. Sad world but thanks for sharing! (SLIM CHICKENS IS THE SAME WAY - dont waste your $$)
