Idk if this idea has been done before in nhl or in other sports games but if it’s possible you should try to do this with all 32 teams. Meaning whoever wins the Stanley Cup that year, the next year you get rid of that team and it’s players and simulate until you’re down to the final 2 teams
@@jacobfilicetti5805 then when you get to the final 6 teams do a best of 7, just like the playoffs, against the ranking of the teams based off the previous years standings. Ex. 1 and 2 seed get a “bye week”, then the 3 seed plays against 6, then 4 plays against 5. Winner of 3v6 plays the 1 seed and 4v5 plays 2 seed to determine who goes to the Stanley Cup
@@jacobfilicetti5805 then for odd number seasons like 5 or 3. The top team gets a bye week and then the other teams play by rank from the standing the previous season. Ex. In a 5 team bracket: the 1 seed goes straight into the Stanley Cup. Then 2 plays against 5, then 3 against 4 to determine the second spot in the finals. Then in a 3 team bracket: 1 goes straight through again and then the other 2 teams play it out for the final spot until you’re down to the last 2 teams
Two things: the original Ottawa Senators had to move to St Louis due to financial woes caused by the Depression, and become the St Louis Eagles in 1934. After one dismal season they had an option to either move back to Ottawa or just disband. They decided to disband. The Colorado Avalanche were originally the Quebec Nordiques. They relocated to Denver because Quebec City didn't have the money to support the team. The Colorado team you're probably thinking of is the Colorado Rockies who eventually relocated to New Jersey in 1982.
whenever you change up the whole league like this you should do something like a randomizer that has all your subscribers on it and name it that league so if i got pick it would be the bhl

you can't have less than 6 teams in franchise mode.
sick idea!

“Idk why Adam Lowry would be made captain.”
Yeah about that…
call me mystic mac
yeah im surprise why Adam Lowry was named captain..
@@mysteries.he rightfully deserves it, definitely the best leader on the jets!
even with these odds, the Wild still don't win a cup. Minnesota sports is a sad thing.
just fyi, Vejmelka is pronounced as Veymelka, you've got it right except the J, great video btw!
"I don't know why adam lowry was the captain last season, that just made zero sense"
Call me mystic Mac because I predict these things
As a panthers fan, this hurt to watch.
Could you do an original 6 draft? I’m curious where some big name players would be in the list. Which ones wouldn’t even be in the league?
I commented this in your stream and you said it could be an idea and you made it
Pasta, what time is the next sream?
Colorado Rockies moved to New Jersey & Thrashers were a expansion team... i believe....
As a Jets fan this was fun to watch
kinda funny that hughes just became captain

I really thought watching this would make me feel better about Columbus...
Og ottawa won a cup so shouldn't ottawa be removed
Technically but I left them in
Back when there were only 4 teams 💀
thats not the same franchise
Why do you use the old senators jerseys?
cause he probably likes them better, even I do (I'm not a sens fan)
they were so clean, the new ones are good, but the old ones are far better
@@jacobfilicetti5805
Ottawa won a cup 1920 lol
but that's not the same franchise. the 1920s senators franchise no longer exists. the modern one is a completely different franchise
Hello, daddy pasta
