Thanks so much for such a great review! We're so happy that you guys enjoyed your first skirm with our product and we can't wait to see more gameplay 🔥🔥💪
My one gripe with it would be that it cannot connect to radio frequencies. For this to work, both you and someone else need to have the system (~$200 x 2) which is quite expensive but having the ability to connect to general radios others might have would be amazing
The Price is pretty crazy. Looks nice and From what i heard it works, I just wish the same what you said and that it gets a PTT Button. Tried it once and had a Heavy breather on the other end and its annoying to hear him all the time just Gasping for Air.
yeah this is a really amazing product, i have been using it for quite a while now for reffing at NSL events and it makes our jobs as referees so much better and easier.
Nice review! This product is the same thing as motorcycle coms such as a Sena or Cardo. The motorcycle coms will cost less and from my experience, mount up to a face mask the same way the battle link does.
@@buffnav6744 yeah but looks the same as the cheaper ones which you can get for like £30, dont get me wrong its good but this looks overpriced, im suprised no one has done this already lol
@@smnath8981 no dude, sena and Paltalk are the only motorcycle helmet coms systems that I've used that work well. The 25 dollar ones might be fine for airsoft, but the shitty speakers and low mic quality will fail you on the road.
@@buffnav6744 ive used many (not brought just used other peoples), tbh some of the cheaper can keep up maybe not in range but certainly in sound and mic quality. Hey ho each to their own i guess :)
This looks like the motorcycle equivalent of a brand called SENA, I would recommend using one of those, they’re cheaper, more range, you can play music and talk to people at the same time and it’s very robust
Except Sena won’t be improving their tech specifically for Airsoft players! Right now the tech is basically the same BUT the profit from the BL-1 is being reinvested into developing the BL-2. Something that Sena won’t be doing . So if you’d like to see this tech made more appropriate for Airsoft players, then buying from us will help us to do that! Also! Stay tuned for the Sordin / Comtac adapter which will allow players to use their active hearing protection! (comtacs / sordins)
@@battle-link9904 this product is sick! It seems gamechanging, and like it would make it so much more fun. Its hard enough grinding in life to afford airsoft luxuries for yourself, its damn near impossible to have friends who are also well off economically LOL
I saw this on your instagram and wondered what it was because there where no good reviews on it, but now i know what it is thanks to your in depth review
Sorry, but outside of the CQB arenas this thing doesn't sound that amazing compared to classic radio comms: -range/power. It might work flawlessly inside lightly built CQB arenas, but you lose line of sight in concrete buildings or in open field with a couple of hills and you won't hear anything. While the same applies for UHF radio, it has better long range performance. -handsfree operation and open comms channel. Yeah, even those cheap Baofengs have VOX options (yes, handsfree) and with the full UHF/VHF spectrum (or select bands without license) you have the same open channels. -additional hardware. You can't connect any peripherals outside those provided: no better antennas, no other microphones or speakers. Something from the original set breaks and you're left with no comms. Honestly the only two things I could consider an upgrade from normal radio is ease of use and bulk reduction, but those two could easily be used to with normal radio. Improved sound quality isn't really needed IMO and you can almost always improve it with better quality microphone and antenna or simply by changing the radio itself for far less cheaper than you can buy one BL-1 (195 €).
Man almost perfect, this instantly won't work for alot of the indoor sites we have in the UK, multiple floors, solid walls metals and alot of obstructions. Would have likely bought this outright if it had better range.
Soooo its like the Bluetooth computer units you can get for motorbike helmets for group rides or just to talk with your passenger... I was wondering how long it would before a airsoft version would come about
a 20$ solution is earpods like they are cheap easy to use with every phone, just need to install discord for bad noise canceling and ur done. for me the battlelink is an moto intercom desing for airsoft nothing new but thats a good product i think its just that for the price Airpods works as well as this device my friend use them and its really nice mic and cant fall with dye mask above it. By the way nice video always good quality, continue like this ;)
I mean I have yet to get all the way through the video but but I’ve rigged similar setups with a discord call between multiple guys and it works pretty well. One of my favorite ways to play in fact. My only problem is airsoft friends that want to play that way with me are a lil more rare
Sooo, whats the advantage of this vs like, using your phone with local wifi/bluetooth/LTE signals using like Zello plugged into Civtak which lets you do comms, text, etc on open or PTT channels.
If this is Bluetooth the range must be quite small. My team plays woodland as often as we play small CQB sites. What’s the furthest you’ve been away from each other and still work?
I really like the idea of this, the only thing is not everyone in the community has $200 USD to out into comms alone, very cool product tho im not sure how it stacks to a baofeng radio at the $40-$50 range
This looks super cool! I’ve been watching videos on it, and it looks great. However, the question/complaint I have is when talking to other teammates. This will still pick up that audio, right? I guess if you and a buddy or two have these, you don’t really need to talk to other teammates.
Because we are re-investing our profits from the BL-1 into further developing this tech so that it better suits the needs of Airsoft players and not motorcycle riders. :)
