Yeah probably, but that isn't what you hope to get out of the #1 pick - you hope you can put your whole franchise on their shoulders and they can get you that Lombardi trophy. I'm certain that 3 years from now he will be crying to get a 5 year $300M+ deal. You gonna want to pay a league average QB who is a bit immature that $? Not me.
Not really. This isn't the same front office that drafted Trubisky and Fields, or traded away everything for Cutler and Mack. The new regime looks pretty solid so far. :)
Does anyone else notice that not one of his supporters say anything positive about his technical attributes (arm, speed, strength, etc…)? It’s always “he loves the game, he’s a winner, he plays like this qb or that qb… but compared to any other qb in the draft all his set skills are mid

Players like this are ruining football right alongside the refs
See me there are an alarming amount of "generational QB talents" coming in nearly 1 every year thats 1 too many for me especially since most dont really pan out, Tua was "generational" and what has he done? Bryce Young was supposed to be generational but doesnt look like it yet, so these QBs imo have zero leverage they better do whatever it takes to get drafted no idea how gms havent caught up but thats just me
@@PhilTheNeed they're all "on a different" level until they actually hit the league give me one "generational talent" that went super high in the 1st in the last 25 years that actually went stupid crazy once in the league and played at a high level for an extended period of time
Proven fact. Combine stats don't mean much. Outside of throwing ability, qb in the nfl comes down to processing and decision making. Very few excel at it. Rodgers, Mahones, Brady, Brees and a handful of others. Extremely difficult and can't be taught. Justin Fields is a freak athlete but is missing that ability.
No QB throwing vs air should sway any GM worth his salt ever… They have oodles of tape the combine is a commercial for guys who need the publicity now. Ya’ll know Caleb…..
Patrick Mahomes was drafted by a 12-4 team (11-5 Chiefs avg record four season leading into drafting Mahomes) with an outstanding coach. He’s still great, but if the Bears picked him, he wouldn’t have a single Super Bowl victory. You can say that about a lot of great QB’s. Peyton Manning had Polian as GM to build a team around him. When Peyton Manning left Indy, Polians left with him. And the next GM and front office were not nearly as good as Polian. Andrew Luck didn’t have much of an offensive line. People love to say Josh Allen made the Bills, but they have a very competent GM/front office and head coach in Buffalo. They share just as much credit for Josh Allen’s success as Josh Allen does. They just made the mistake of giving JA too much clout within the organization. Burrow is only guy that has done well without much of an offensive line. Explosive WR’s and RB def deserve a lot of credit.
Every year someone goes #1, how many of them are actually worth that pick? Dude if I’m the Bears I trade that pick and get as much capital back as possible. Stick with fields and if he’s not it, go get a proven QB in the NFL. The reason why KC wins so much is they play the draft like a smart team. Get assets and multiple talented players and pay your current proven players. Just a thought.
His draft stock should 100% be effected. He showed poor decision making and lacks leadership skills by not participating. “He and others think they are above that” hahahahaha I would never select a guy like that. Take someone else who showed up willing to do what was needed. Bum
My issue with the bears taking him is that they need a lot more than a QB to go to the next level. They could easily trade down, fill some holes in the draft and free agency and have more picks for next year. MHJ is the best player in the draft and there will always be the next great QB the bears could draft and NOT develop.
What? You don't hate player's who are trying to manipulate the system to get where they want to go. People were critical of Tony Dorsett set when he refused to play for a new franchise team, Seahawks and was traded instead to the team of his choice. I was disappointed at the time because I lived there, but after considering the fact that these players do have due process 😪 I had to bite back the tears. Come on man, stop hating 😒
U hating for no reason😂what did he do to make him a clown? Marvin Harrison isn’t even allowing any teams to talk to him or do anything at the coke one whatsoever and people are saying that’s the right move but anything Caleb does he’s “doing too much”😂
Why trade fields they would both be on a rookie contract. Sit Williams a year. Multiple number ones have sat. Alex smith Micheal Vick Eli manning Phillip rivers Carson Palmer. Aaron Rodgers’s Tom Brady Patrick mahomes. All these qb’s sat. Trade fields after he balls out. Or trade Williams if he can’t overtake fields
Does it though? JF1 has another year on his deal even if we don't pick up his 5th year option. No matter what QB we draft, Caleb included, the best way to ensure their success is letting them sit and learn the ropes for a year like Mahomes and Brady did. If it worked for the GOATs we should make it work for us as well. This scenario is not getting enough attention.

I'm certain that 3 years from now he will be crying to get a 5 year $300M+ deal. You gonna want to pay a league average QB who is a bit immature that $? Not me.
What have u ever seen about him that makes u think he’s immature?😂wtf
@@kylewade8704 crying to his mommy after losing a game
@@daburglarthat’s not immature he cried because they wouldn’t make the cfb playoffs please get a brain.
@devsports7417 there were thousands of players who didn't cry to their mom because they lost a game....it screams entitlement.
He’s gonna be the top pick it just depends on if the bears trade down or not
Bears fans are about to see the difference between a competitive leader (Caleb Williams) and a soft, sensitive little boy (Justin Fields.)
Bears fans are about to watch another bust going down.
Caleb will be a superstar! Mark it down! Chicago better do the right thing 😤
It’s dropped when his dad started talkin for him
Bears are still the Bears….
At least we were on the right side of the trade last year
I always find a funny that y’all were always trying to figure out a way to always talk down on the Bears lol keep doubting us 🤷🏾♂️💯
@@Dre.2397we will y’all been trash for years
Actually we could have picked stroud…. We both blew it… The panthers just really blew it
Not really. This isn't the same front office that drafted Trubisky and Fields, or traded away everything for Cutler and Mack. The new regime looks pretty solid so far. :)
A lot of these guys do it to get people to get more people to see their bros at their facilities
Does anyone else notice that not one of his supporters say anything positive about his technical attributes (arm, speed, strength, etc…)? It’s always “he loves the game, he’s a winner, he plays like this qb or that qb… but compared to any other qb in the draft all his set skills are mid
what? his skillset is elite people have been talking anout his skillset for 3 years. if you have eyes you xan see that he makes more olays than any qb in the draft and it isn’t close
Why do you think he was gettting Mahomes compariosons in the first place?
He is throwing off the bears to go to the commanders, lol
His new sponsor is Kleenex.
I think id stop rooting for the Vikes if they had Caleb at qb
I’m sure you really hurt Caleb’s feelings with that one
@@Tonyt95 wasnt my intent but with Calebs history of being an easy crier hopefully he doesnt read comments
So he assumes he's better than everyone else and watched everyone else put the work in while he played celebrity 🤔 he says he does not want the bears to draft him 🤔 his father wants to own stock in the team his son is drafted by 🤔 is he paying for these stocks or is it a entitled issue 🤔 I don't care how much you say you love football, prove it without saying it. Players like this are ruining football right alongside the refs
I like the cut of his jib
See me there are an alarming amount of "generational QB talents" coming in nearly 1 every year thats 1 too many for me especially since most dont really pan out, Tua was "generational" and what has he done? Bryce Young was supposed to be generational but doesnt look like it yet, so these QBs imo have zero leverage they better do whatever it takes to get drafted no idea how gms havent caught up but thats just me
Maybe but if you compare Caleb Williams vs those other guys you mentioned coming out of college Caleb is clearly on a different level
He’s to risky. The days of them being number one if not burrow are numbered. To risky.
No QB throwing vs air should sway any GM worth his salt ever… They have oodles of tape the combine is a commercial for guys who need the publicity now. Ya’ll know Caleb…..
he really doesnt wanna go to the bears huh
He literally said he'd play for them 😅
In my mind his draft stock went down when he started crying like a baby in his moms lap after losing a game. Ain’t no way that’d be my franchise qb
Pretty sure that every player in the nfl loves football…
I like Pat with the t-shirt
They just made
the mistake of giving JA too much clout within the organization.
Burrow is only guy that has done well without much of an offensive line. Explosive WR’s and RB def deserve a lot of credit.
Mahomes would have made the Bears Champions again. They picked the flavor of the month instead.
Caleb at 1 is a done deal, has been for months. Only question is who’s getting him at 1
Dude has had a lot of missteps with some of the talk this week, but the other stuff is pretty damn cool! Hope the best for the kid.
All speculation. We'll wait and see. Still a crybaby to me
Every year someone goes #1, how many of them are actually worth that pick? Dude if I’m the Bears I trade that pick and get as much capital back as possible. Stick with fields and if he’s not it, go get a proven QB in the NFL. The reason why KC wins so much is they play the draft like a smart team. Get assets and multiple talented players and pay your current proven players. Just a thought.
He will be the biggest bust in history
His draft stock should 100% be effected. He showed poor decision making and lacks leadership skills by not participating. “He and others think they are above that” hahahahaha I would never select a guy like that. Take someone else who showed up willing to do what was needed. Bum
My issue with the bears taking him is that they need a lot more than a QB to go to the next level. They could easily trade down, fill some holes in the draft and free agency and have more picks for next year. MHJ is the best player in the draft and there will always be the next great QB the bears could draft and NOT develop.
You can’t just go out and get a top qb whenever you want like all the other positions.
I feel bad for any team that wastes a pick on this clown 😂
Marvin Harrison isn’t even allowing any teams to talk to him or do anything at the coke one whatsoever and people are saying that’s the right move but anything Caleb does he’s “doing too much”😂
Two wrongs make no right... Harrison will bust too, and latex boy is a clown. Facts. @@kylewade8704
I really don’t think this dude cares where in the top 3 he gets picked at. Almost think he doesn’t wanna go number 1 overall 🤣
anything and eveything he said in the combine was how badly he wants to go first lmao
He said in his combine press conference that he expects to go #1 and he is clearly fixated on being the #1 pick.
The greatest quarterback prospect of all time was Trevor Lawrence when he was getting drafted lol…these statements are ridiculous
Josh Rosen 2.0
Please let the bears mess this up and pass on caleb
I think Caleb is going to Kliff Kingsbury -Commanders = they're tight
Drafting Caleb Williams means trading Justin Fields elsewhere!
well, duh! lol
@@andrewdunton9109 For every stupid mistake the Bears will make, they must sell the team no matter how long it’ll take!
@@andrewdunton9109no fields has to have a new contract before next year, it’s either pay him around 50 million or draft Caleb. There’s not even a chance rn that fields is staying it’s already decided
