For info only , "kajmak" is not a cream cheese , it's just a skimmed cream from the milk , collected from the surface of the milk, salted and layered....cream, salt etc

11 months of traveling to date ! You are collecting a lot of memories of all these small towns :). Btw, was the lunch menu in English ? 😊

Hi Mike! We can't believe how quickly time flies. As of Aug 31 we have been traveling for one year.
Regarding your question...the answer is Yes, menus were available in English. Sremski Karlovci was a more popular destination than I anticipated. It seemed like a lot of Chinese visitors were there specifically for the wine. Most restaurants we visited had English menus and almost everyone spoke fluent English (the exception was small shops and green markets which is what you would probably expect).
      Thanks for watching and commenting!

03:20 Church of Sain Sava was built in Byzentine style, like church of Sain Sofia in Instanbul-Constantinopole. This church is built in.. i do not know how to cole that style, simple, western, some mix of Byzentine and Goth style. Like the most churches in Slovakia for example, vene Hungary maybe. Actually, during history Serbia is constantly divided between two civilisations, eastern and western. Up to today days. You can see and feal that on every step for the time you are in Serbia. Northern parts of the country are closer to western, central are between and southern are more like Greece, Bulgaria, even Turkey, eastern. After Ottomans whole country turns west and the most old buidings in the country was buit in western, autro-hungarian style, like Vienna or Munich. But, besides bunch bunch of wars and devastations during history. Serbia is one of the most devastated countries in Europe, with the highest percentage of kiled people during wars. We have some old Ottoman buildings, the mostly on the south of the country. Mucth smaller number compared to the Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece and other Balcan countries under Ottoman roule. Northern Serbia, it is former Habsburg empire, central and southern, Ottoman.Sorry about awful english writing and gramm.

Also, your English is very good - much better than our Serbian 😂

That's a wonderful suggestion. We have Timisoara on our list, but we were not able to fit it on our travel schedule. In fact, we would like to spend a couple of months in Romania. Do you have any other Romanian cities you suggest we visit?
      Cheers!
