Ahhh you bring back so much memories watching your recipes. I remember my nana would make this every Saturday morning and we’d have it with fresh crusty buttered bread but I remembered she used half a block of koko, washed her rice and added a couple of leaves from her lemon tree at the end to make it fragrant.
I tried your panipopo recipe last night and it was the best recipe I have ever tried! 😍 even my Samoan Nana and papa said it was better than some of those that go for sale in our area 😂 keep the recipes coming! New subbie here 😊 oh & btw, could I please have a bowl of your koko alaisa 🙊 look's good 😎 lol
C SOPHIV awww that’s awesome! 🤓💕🙌🏽👌🏽 so glad that the recipe worked out! And even more stoked that it got your nana and papa’s seal of approval ! 🥇 thank you for the sub, and hell yeah you can! There’s at least half the pot left of the koko alaisa lol I only made it because we were gunna play monopoly with my sister and her husband and she asked me to make it for her (I don’t really eat Koko alaisa.. I like kopai more lol) I’ll try to think of some other common island dishes.. maybe a pineapple pie lol 😂

Yummy
Thanks 🤓 - it was a first attempt lol 😂
Parents told me to make this, but they never taught me. Wish me luck before they come back 😂
I preferred the rice washed then chucked in lol
If I wanted Sua Alaisa would I just follow same steps just no cocoa?
Yes! 🤗
instead of adding KOKO can you add MILO or Chocolate powder instead ?
THAT TRUTH don’t see why not. The flavour wouldn’t be as strong but all good it’s probably how a lot of people like it
Can i use cocoa powder, instead of that block of koko ?
Money Mantis yes definitely - 3-4 Tablespoons oughta do it 😃
@@nuliknax7407 Thanks.
