I recommend you check out the "Rogues Extra" class mod. This one adds ALL of the official Rogue subclasses that are not in the vanilla game: Phantom, Inquisitive, Mastermind, Scout, Soulknife, and Swashbuckler!
@@VeteranJoystick I will not judge these Rogue subclasses within the BG3 framework myself. However, in DND, Soulknife and Swashbuckler are generally considered the best. The former gives you unlimited teleport, and the latter turns Rogue into a full-on melee combatant.
These videos are so great - so helpful! I am psyched that you did Shadow Sorc and enjoyed it alot : ) That's the class I'm planning for my upcoming game with my friends. I'm planning on playing as Astarion as the Dark Urge, as a SorLock (2 levels great old one warlock, the rest Shadow Sorc), and for race with probably either Whispers of Divine Fallen Aasimar or maybe Lich or Wight from Ghastly Ghouls. To do that I'm planning on using: Appearance edit enhanced (to alter race and look of Astarion), Vampire gd expanded (for more vampirey fun), Shadow sorc mod, 5e Spells, Eldritch blast overhaul, Metamagic extended... and we've got to increase the difficulty so we were talking about using Encounters Overhaul - Additional Enemies and Encounters. Also, to not miss the good robe for eldritch blasting when doing an evil campaign we need Enhanced Dreadful Inheritence - Potent Robe as Dark Urge. Can you confirm, by the way, if the Shadow Sorc darkness can be applied to an item you're wielding (i.e. on your staff), and if the darkness cloud then moves with you?
blight druid is basically how I envision the spore druid. My only fear is that these custom sub classes are too OP and make the game kinda of boring for me.
That was the fear of my boyfriend and I but then he said just increase the difficulty put it on honor mode and with the update you can customize honor mode settings so it’s not like a one and done death. So that you don’t have these too OP classes going thru the game like butter
The majority of the subclasses I cover are from DnD 5e and built in line with their specifications, so in truth they’re as balanced as they are intended to be! I’d a class is super OP I tend to mention it to let viewers know 😊
You’d be surprised how many are working with patch 7 besides perhaps some icon issues. A lot have been updated already and a lot of the core mods such as script extender, community library, compatability framework are updated already. And mod fixer is now built into the game. So yeh, give them a try!
Or you could wait for mod support coming in the next month or two. It’s coming for consoles and PC, and mods like this should be available if the mod developers port them through whatever Larian puts in the game. Idk what special effects will be available to developers, but they should be able to recreate the majority of mods.
My friend is hoping to play as Bladesinger wizard for our upcoming evil campaign. I wonder if you'd be able to put Bladesinger into a video, with the option to only go up to level 12, not beyond. Wondering if it's well implemented/fun/balanced/good animations etc.

Oh awesome! Thank you for the recommendation. I’ll check that one out asap!
@@VeteranJoystick I've been wondering how good that mod is! If you review it, I'll 100% be checking it out

Yes, you can apply the darkness to items also 😊
Excited to learn abt the Druid on my break
Enjoy! Let me know what you think 😊
@@VeteranJoystick was not disappointed with Druid, echo night definitely peaked my interest as well!
Echo Knight is really impressive and a whole lot of fun!
Love the Bard Subclass 😍

@@VeteranJoystick Normally I'd agree, but a lot of the later DnD content is not balanced.
I only worry about how balanced modded subclasses are, quite a few I've came across just seem a little stronger than it should.

So you are telling me that the ghostlance build is actually POSSIBLE in BG3.....oooooh no lol
Is it on console
Which one?
@ any of them but more specifically the Druid one, I saw it on a short and forgot to specify
If only I weren’t a moron, and could get mods to work.
Check one of my older videos, it’s a full step by step guide to installing mods. Follow that and if you get stuck let me know and I’ll try and help!
