    I’m a beginning nail tech and I was trying to figure out why my gel wasn’t touching side to side until you mentioned using a tip that was slightly bigger then your actual nail.. makes sense! And I found that it was way easier when using the clips. The nail come out way better lol clips are lifeee!

    You make it look so easy. I use this and it takes me 2hrs to have decent looking nails... and even with all that time, some nails end up being thicker than others... Not to mention that you need to be careful with the liquid, because if the brush is too wet, the gel is not gonna work properly. 🤦🏽‍♀️

    • @BreannaBaozi
      @BreannaBaozi 5 років тому +115

      thicker nails is actually better. The nails that she did actually looked TOO thin. You need that strength so that the tip just doesn't break off. A little bit of a thicker nail is better for structure and strength

    Can you refill poly gel or do you have to do a brand new set every time? I have only done acrylic nails.

    I actually bought polygel about a week ago! I use it like a builder gel with normal forms though. My results definitely aren't as perfect as those dual forms, but im having fun trying to build the nail.

      @Luna The brand i got is pretty cheap, from Aimeli on amazon. For me they stay on probably 5 or so days, but when they fall off i use nail glue to put them back on. It all depends on your nails though. Polish peels off my nails very quickly too. For example, a polish i use will stay on for like 2 days before peeling, but won't chip at all on my moms nails.

    They actually make nail forms that you don't pop off after curing them,you just file down the tip to the shape and length that you want. You can make some really cool nail art inside of the form too with different acrylic or gel colors. They're really cool!

    This looks amazing! How long did they last? Did you fill them too, use a electric file or just hand file? I dont know a lot about polygel but this looks like a great alternative to acrylic or gel nails. What do you think?

    • @paulamireku3937
      @paulamireku3937 5 років тому +1

      They can last a couple weeks like acrylics and you can also fill them. You can use either a hand file or an e file but hand filing will take longer
