It's supposed to be like when a military person gets captured by an enemy. They're trained to only tell the enemy their name, rank, and serial number.
The implication is that Mr. Upbeat is being held against his will and tortured.
He did mention that his feet hurt, and wanting gel insoles, so he might be being tortured by it.

@@computer_dude yeah, since it was started from the debug mode, it attempted to show the results screen afterwards. But since Mr. Upbeat doesn’t have a results screen, well…

he entered Mr upbeat by the debug menu, making the game thinking it was a actual game instead of a endless. so it played the results screen and it crashed due to endless games not having result screens

since the endless game was on the debug menu, the game actually thought it was a normal minigame so it ran the result screen and as a result the game corrupted
