I can agree with all the things you said. Danganronpa 2 is my favorite game of them all, because the characters were funny as hell, the setting was amazing, the plot is astonishing and the trials got me all pumped up, especially the last one. I LOVED that. Oh and, the logic dive. It's arguably the best minigame in all of Danganronpa's class trials
I loved Danganronpa THH, it really set the bar for me, it had the best soundtrack, best characters, great executions, amazing stories, and was just an overall great game for its time!
THH and UDG are my favourite ones UDG has such a fun gameplay and to me its pretty unique and THH feels more danganronpa cuz the athmosphere feels more trapped than in it should be in the other games
My ranking (without UDG because I haven’t played it) would go 3. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair 2. Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc 1. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
@@5Qu1Z33r to be fair, the first two aren’t that related until the end and the arc it building was resolved in the third anime, at least they promoted it that way.

But Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair was the best the fact that it was on an island as the setting there were a lot more challenges, closing climaxes and Hangman's Gambit it fit the story well and I was happy that this game was amazing I beat them all within 2022
They must be some of the most forgettable characters in the game. They have no lore relevance, no big impactful moments, etc. Whereas Monomi/Usami is one of the reasons I love DR2 so much (ESPECIALLY at the fifth chapter).

Nah shuichi is better he had character development, his relationship with kaede and later on Kaito and maki was wel written, unlike the other two main character he didn't choose hope and he was a detective what atleast made sense that the he solved the cases unlike the other two main character who were normal like how tf could they be so good at solving murder cases

I’m kind of split on whether I like the 2nd or 1st game the most. As much as I like the main character in the 2nd and the plot surrounding it I would probably have to say I had the most fun with the 1st. The Third game is a sequel that undoubtedly has some of the highest high’s and the lowest low’s in the series so in the end it kind of just lands in the middle for me which makes it my least favorite. An example of this is the trials, V3 has some of the best trials in the series hands down, BUT at the same time it arguably has some of the worst and most annoying characters in any dangraronpa game (The magic girl and spirtual girl made me want to blow my head off). Another example are the new games they added to the trials and the introduction of lying being a mechanic which I thought was super cool. However, as much as I love the trials in of themselves in the third game, the last trial that tied them all together is without a doubt the worst one in the entire franchise by a mile. It is absolutely horrible and legit made me want to just stop playing right there and then. The writing is comically bad and the plot twists they revealed in this trial is shit you’d find in a bad fanfic. The point I’m trying to make is that for ever part of this game I find awesome, there’s always another part that annoys the shit out of me or is just bad. Ultimately, by the end of all these games I only really felt like I was solving a mystery with the first game. With games that are this story driven the ending being well made is very integral to your overall impression and how you’ll remember it and I believe the first game delivers in this regard. The second game’s last trial is kinda all over the place and had my eyes rolling when the first plot twist about the island was revealed. The second plot twist with the students was interesting but I felt like they kind of fumbled the potential it had so the payoff at the end didn’t feel nearly as rewarding. And the less said about the dumpster fire that is V3’s ending the better
V3 was annoying as hell. You can’t go 5 seconds without some dude talking about “not giving up” “believe in your friends!” “We have to fight for hope” “we’ll end this killing game!”
I disagree but your opinion is valid too for me it was good SPOILERS SPOILERS Shirogane stole the spolight and along with shuichi they made this so much better but I do admit the outside world is kinda annoying

I agree, I think that the plot/premise of THH was more simple but better executed than DR2 so it is a bit better for me too :)
Great video. I've only played the first two, but it sounds like I should give the third one a shot.
