Foil adds so much , especially this time of year for holiday cards… but everyday for a bit of fun shine! I would caution tho, ‘hot foil’ usually now means the type that works with the newer hot foil plates etc, not with toner and a laminator…it seems to cause a lot of folks confusion between the two… until one learns the hard way by purchasing the wrong one (ask me how I know…🤣🤣🙄). Great to know about your sentiments!! 🧑🏼🎨😀
Back in the 1990s, we used the same process with a standard, household iron (no steam setting). This was in the days before color printers of any kind were available, so there were a handful of foils in different colors (magenta, blue, green) in addition to the standard silver, gold, and rose gold. You could also send them through your laser printer, but I no longer remember the procedure for doing that.
Must give this a try. I also bought the kaleido machine kit (john Lockwood) a few years ago, but keep forgetting to get it out. Musr have a foiling day. Ive got your word papers plus your black and white papers in your collections 😊
