I was there in 1996, when the first running prototype was driven around Scandinavian Raceway in Anderstorp, here in Sweden ( the picture from -96 at 16:18 ). Never in a million years could I, or anybody else sitting on the grand stand for that matter, realise what would become of that unknown sports car going around the track. In 2000, me and my brother were lucky enough to get invited to the Koenigsegg stand at Paris Motorshow, to have a chat with Christian's dad Jesko and have a test sit in the very first CC8S (Why this priviledge? We asked if there were any brochures - in Swedish!). I have followed the brand closely since then and have met with Christan too at one occasion last year. I am really impressed and immensely happy that this crazy, totally "un-Swedish" endeavour has survived and not only that, thrived. I love these videos, keep them coming!
I was at the factory too. When they were starting production of the Agera. It was such a big step up from the CCX. And what they have achieved since then it absolutely incredible. Now the best versions of the Regera have iconic status and go for several million dollars a pop over in the US.
I was doing construction stuff in hangar3/4 and was the main carpenter team in the renovation of their office building at the 8 minute mark. Feels surreal watching this on youtube!

It was like a dream come true when you announced the partnership with Koenigsegg. They are the best around for me. You don't get to see them much and with the uncut channel we will get to see a lot more of them.

The guys at Koenigsegg are the pinnacle of automotive engineering. I would love to see them have a race team, I think they would dominate in any type of Motorsport (maybe not rally or Moto gp etc).
Had that thought myself for quite some time. Like Le mans. Small 2 car team in co-op with private funders, oil or tire manufacturers etc. They would eat that competition like Swedish meatballs. Please, CVK?

Have you thought about using the video side to make the handovers and koenigsegg London more special by doing a video diary of every customers car journey with the different specing sessions and a video of it on the production line and the handover or pdi before they receive their car
Congrats James. I did a similar thing in cycling, represented some of the top (titanium) marks for a brief period, and it was a bit blase to me at the time. Bicycles are just not cars, it's a couple powers of magnitude difference. Koenigsegg is the brand I've grown to love most. I'd just not be able to fake my enthusiasm for any other brand that comes to find, Koenigsegg I just can't shut up about.

I’m in the car industry like you but we prep cars for events and launches and see behind the scenes as you are showing. It’s so good that you are doing this to give people a realistic view of what really goes on, but it doesn’t show the real blood, sweat and tiredness of the people behind the scenes. Love your work James, please keep doing the behind the scenes show, it’s a winner.👍🏻
It must be incredibly hard being the car nerd that you are to decide which goodies are worthy of being stashed for their personal collection value. Also, how many times during this day did you want to pinch yourself and ask “what have I done to deserve this?” Edit-I would love to see how badly the Gemera would annihilate the other MONSTERS up that runway.
