  • In this vlog in the Philippines I travel from Cebu to Boracay the long way - via bus and ferry. 1st I took the bus from Cebu City to Bacolod. This journey took me around 11 hours. Then Bacolod to Iloilo via fastcraft and then finally a v-hire van from Iloilo City to Boracay. The van takes 4-5 hours to reach Caticlan.
    If you are looking for accommodation check out my video here • Top 10 Resorts in Bora...
    I look at Boracay requirements for 2022 and I was shocked by Boracay Algae. Although locals said it would soon go away when the weather warmed up. As I travel between islands I look at the requirements for Philippines travel in each place.

    I've been to Boracay and to Cebu but when I was in Cebu I went to Palawan. I went to Palawan with a friend and we went flew from Manila to Cebu and then to Palawan. I messed up on my booking with PAL because I thought that we were just making a quick stop in Cebu but after booking the trip I realized that the departure time was earlier than the time that we landed. It was fine with me because we got to see a little bit of Cebu for a day. One thing that I didn't expect was for it tot take at least an hour to go from the airport to the Radisson Blu Hotel. I really enjoyed the Radisson Blu Hotel and hopefully I can visit there as well as more places in Cebu. There are just so many places to visit in the Philippines that I could probably spend years going from one place to another.

      @FindingParadise  2 роки тому +2

      At least you made the most of it! Traveling from the airport to Cebu can take a while and it's only got worse with traffic over the years. There's some historical sites in downtown Cebu City. My recommendations would be head north or south of Cebu to their best beaches. Camotes, Malapascua or my favorite Bantayan Island. I've done guides to that island in my channel. Yes you're right on the time you need to explore the amazing islands. What are your favs so far?

    ah algae season, white beach gets the worst of it. I believe the other side of the island has better beach conditions.

    • @FindingParadise
      @FindingParadise  Рік тому

      You'll find it depends on conditions, some years the algae will be better sometimes worse. Also at that time of year it's calm on White Beach so the algae doesn't get washed away like it would on the other side of the island.
