I pretty much have the dominant scores on a cabinet at some arcade on the beach and no matter how good you are the AI will still rubber band like crazy making it near impossible to win.
When i was 5 years old I was playing fast and furious tokyo drift arcade cause my eyes feels like the race cars it lights up with neon cars I race all day at the city
@@syahminorizan8064 In fact, Need for Speed Underground: The Arcade was made by Global VR, not Raw Thrills, which only made Fast and Furious arcade games. So Need for Speed is not in the same series as Fast and Furious.
They had 3 of these at a local roller skating rink in my hometown and holy shit the amounts of nostalgia are insane. I used to go there for the entire summer and got 25 tokens each day and instead of blowing them on games where I could win prizes I would play this damn game because it was so addicting... I loved it... I miss it... I want it...
Looks like they took a random arcade game and but a F&F label on it. What's even going on there? Lava, volcanos, dragon ghosts flying around? Can't remeber that from the Tokio Drift movie.
These games were basically the successors to Cruis'n before they brought it back to arcades in 2017. They just used the F&F license because it was big at the time. Even the Wii port of the first game was called Cruis'n, not Fast & Furious.
Who voices this game? I like the next track announcements. I bet she had to practice in order to pronounce the track names correctly. I also like her voice inflection.
They have one of these in the arcade at the Holiday Park i go to every Spring and Summer Ya boi has got all the highscores and the majority of the top 10 lap times on every circuit ;) like seriously as it scrolls through the lap times at 0:21 it says is my name for all of the 10 for almost every track XD i've been using it for 10 years leave me alone XD
pounding in 1111111111 over and over again to get the maxed out profile and getting records, I remember fighting other kids for the record on sanfran, and then playing this against 4 peoples was insane, usually you would only see players with 1-2 cabinets.
I used playing that game in a location in my city with some game lovers, I mostly won them. I like run that car Ford GT, the Saleen and the Dodge Viper
Wow I forgot how bad the rubber band was in arcade racers. Especially since the player has maxed out stats and it's the first race. In with a quarter out with bitter frustration. 😠

Fun fact: all kanji on banners shown in game are composed with random characters that doesn't make any sense.
What do some of them say?
gotta love the 2000s
I just noticed it 😂
Thats funny since thats what a lot of japanese games do with english text. Just a bunch of gibberish for stylistic flair.
The Katakana between the Film-Title and DRIFT Titles is literally "Fast and Furious" but in... Japanese Engrish?, basically.
Go to any arcade in the US, and you're bound to come across one of these
Yep, & the Mrs. PAC-MAN/Galaga 20th Anniv. 2-in-1.
Actually even the movie theater I go to has one of these
There is still a function one in a Walmart in a town nearby where I live.
I live in the U.S and i have never seen one of these ive only seen supercars and the original fnf arcade game
I remember me with my friends and my brother playing this in Walmart.
My mother located this downstairs of mall there was huge arcade including Mario kart
Wow walmart had arcade games??
@@relentless4g63t some do, yeah, ours still does
They had these in Walmart? I didn’t know that. Well I don’t have a Walmart where I live so, but that’s still pretty crazy and cool dude.
Note: the continue music is from cruise in blast by raw thrills ands it’s coming to switch

It looks like it runs on the same exact engine as Crusin' but with (sorta) sophisticated car customization
