    The 1:01 mark- nobody does pain like Kevin McDonald! His anguish is a universal language.

    This sketch always seemed weird to me, because back when Kids in the Hall was originally on, Mark was the Kid I always forgot, not Kevin. So I'd see this sketch and kind of go "huh."

    • @CelineRazavi
      @CelineRazavi 4 роки тому +10

      Right?! Exactly I always thought Mark was the most normal dude and thus my least favorite and most forgotten. I mean Kevin is I high pitched weirdo and plays a great chick how do you not love or remember him!

      now I forget which one was the surprise 6th member in the '6th member of kids in the hall' sketch.. where it turned out one of the core 5 had fewer appearances than that one guy so HE was the 6th..

    Kevin is my favorite Kid; therefore I feel attacked.
    Kidding, a UA-cam video could never attack me. That's solely the role of Facebook posts.

    If i ever get to meet Kevin, its always been my Dream of referring to him as "La Poopie" to see if he remembers. i bet he does, but i figure it'd still be a funny way of showing him how much his comedy means to me still, even today.

    judging by the spaghettI sketch, Canadian Kevin McDonald became popular in France by making fun of Italians

    So, basically French Jackass? I'm kinda more of a Jacques Tati type myself. Incidentally I happened to watch Jeunet's latest movie yesterday, "Micmacs". Really good, and some excellent mime/clowning performances.

  • @zobazoba69
    @zobazoba69 13 років тому

    @chronicleone Actually, I,m pretty sure they were making fun of france's preferences for «physical» humour, and as you can see, childish and out of date punch lines. And this observation is true, I,ve experienced it a few times in the past: one of the occurences being online and witnessing french people laughing at some dude puting a clown's nose on! Saying: il est rigolo celui-là!! lol

  • @zobazoba69
    @zobazoba69 13 років тому

    @Jcolinsol Good for you...but I didn't laugh so much , I was just shocked...felt I went back 50 years. But this sketch is pretty dated; isn't it from the late 80's? Anyway, I think the world has changed since then, with globalisation an all, this might not be the reality in today's France. First: ever heard of Rémi Gaillard? Secondly: I love french people, I have three french room mates, and one of them is very funy (normal funny!)...I sure would like to visit europe one of these days...sigh...
