Honestly the two of them laughing at Dan playing with the ragdoll ability has got to be one of the highlights of this year already

There's so much undiluted joy in that laugh, it's always the best part of a video when it comes out.
That's a clip for the highlight reel if I've ever seen one. Probably one of the ones that spawns a whole highlight-volume running gag, especially if they keep doing it past this episode.

This wasn't the direction I expected the Breath of the Wild sequel to go, but I'm loving it!
I feel like I've been hearing Dan slip into Frog Detective voice now and then in other videos. I cannot overstate how okay I am with that. :) And the idea of him slipping into it dealing with Carrie is very wholesome.

Somehow, _failing_ to ragdoll down the cliff on that first attempt ended up being funnier than actually doing it. Also I don't remember any of those wooden playgrounds having "that one cube" that was separated from the others, but that comment did awaken buried memories of one I visited as a kid where a bunch of enclosed segments were linked up together with no ways in or out except at the ends. Like a maze except there's only one path. And probably there was no roof on most of the parts because otherwise it would be pitch black inside.

23:25: To be fair, the explicitly-designed slimes are even harder to get out of your head. Even if you actively try.

44:40: Water in the fire? _Why?_ Not understand...
50:00: Kid, you're faster than the hero, you just can't run more than six steps at a time. You need to learn to pace yourself.
1:35: It would be fun if Frog Detective was an uncle figure to Li'l Gator.
11:15: Either that or multiplying the small number of big trashes into a large number of little trashes.
14:25: There are a lot of waterfalls, it feels like you should be able to do _something_ with them (eventually).
22:50: That's a good world design philosophy. Or at least, it's good to have a vague but intuitive world design philosophy like that.
24:35: There should be some kind of first-person exploration game set in one of those old wooden playground castle things. Or at least, like, a spooky magic dimension created by putting a MacGuffin on one of them. That is such a great aesthetic (which is an objective fact and not just a consequence of my nostalgia for a playground whose towering wooden edifices have been replaced by smaller, colorful easier-to-maintain...things).

I like the idea of a wooden playground structure (or a BIG suburb area, with multiple ones, and you move the macgruffin...) ... and there's a plot to replace them all with the plastic kind... for the safty of the children..
and one of the endings is you go in, you don't come out, and they all get replaced, bad end.

This game is great and so adorable so far!! I loved the little fact at the beginning about how in conversations between Carrie and Dan, frog Detective sort of slips out sometimes in response, it's so sweet and funny. Also, coming up with this many voices for this many characters can be tough, but I think you two are doing a good job! Lovely episode 2, can't wait for what episode 3 brings, have a good weekend and upcoming week you two!!
Maybe I too can harness the power of unexpected ragdolling to escape awkward conversations you porducing even more awkward silences.
Got this game right after last week's video and finished it yesterday (busy week). I was giggling all the time.
PS.: Ragdoll is no doubt the best feature in this game.

Cardinals are dioecius. Meaning there are distingt disparities between male and female. In this case, male cardinals are crimson red. Wile females are more of wheat yellow.
So, all postals of "Merry Cristmas" with a couple of cardinals in a nest are gay cardinals.

Just need a boat mystery and this is the perfect PlayFrame game.
The whole skipping rocks thing unlocked some memories... and I suddenly feel really old, because I haven't done that in almost two decades. It's a weird catharsis to get just right, esp when you get it just right going up a stream or something and can just watch it go.

I felt kind of bad that Dan ragdolling didn't make me laugh like it did Carrie--I went all Frog Detective in response. But it was really nice to hear her laugh like that.
On the other hand, that is absolutely how I laughed during yesterday's episode when Dan talked to Quirrel for the first time and "Emmons" popped up as the character's name. Did Dan Jones adjust the reveal time, or does the game just have built-in comedic timing?

Idk if its your speed but i recommend spark the electric jester 3, which is kinda one of the specifically for me games cause it feels the way Id really like a sonic platformer to feel like. Its real good huge recommend

I bought and 100%-ed the game after the last video.
