Interesting how some of Scar’s lines that didn’t make it into the final movie aren’t voiced by Jeremy Irons. Makes me wonder how late into production he was brought on. Example “Take on my beloved brother? I wouldn’t dream of it.” Versus “Temper, temper! I wouldn’t dream of challenging you.”
I wished they could this work print movie for the live action version of the lion king. Because the one they've made the worst just like the other live versions.
51:48 Simba & Nala's verison 55:23 Pumbaa & Timon's version I wonder why they didn't release these two versions in a soundtrack. And why didn't they add the Lion king 1993 soundtrack?
I wonder if there's more versions of this like a full king of the jungle or any other lion king full story board movies that feature the Simba birth, mufasas version of just can't wait to be king, alt hakuna matata versions and the warthog Rhapsody
Man, I don't know which is the trippier temp score: The elephant graveyard being set to the opening scene from "Beetlejuice", or the beginning of the stampede being set to the track from ANH where R2-D2 got captured by the Jawas?
Okay since i see nobody comment about the ending i guess i'll do it. It defiently felt rushed, just Simba showing up, Scar reveals for no reason his evil plan, gets beat and then ending scene. So that's something they fixed in the final version. Also, when Scar first saw Simba, he screamed in fear and asked for forgivness, thinking it was his dead brother. Does that mean Scar was somewhat tormented by his brother after he killed him? Also i found it funny how he just started begging for mercy once he knew he wasn't going to win. I guess he is all roar and no bite!
It was just how voiceover is in animated movies. That was just a scratch voice just in case there were script revisions. They probably didn't want to use Jeremy Irons voice then because they probably were going to change it
Oh, and where is the score in the stampede scene from? I remember hearing it in some of the trailers for The Lord of the Rings trilogy waaaaaaayyyyyy back in the day.
