    Doesn’t matter as long as cost goes down. I wanted one of these until you made me not want one. You mentioned a lighter/ smaller version a few months ago. Is that still happening and will it be cheaper than these models?

      @loboadventuretrailers  6 місяців тому

      Absolutely. Shoot me a text and I’ll send you photos. Should be launching in the next six weeks. We take a long time to launch because we want to get it right before we do so. Starting price would be 18,000. Total weight would be 1100 to 1300 pounds. Fully loaded.
      Striving to get it to be about 900 before you start putting your stuff inside of it with water and batteries, etc.

      OK cool. Obviously for your trailer, we would keep it that way. Maybe we make it modular?

    Passenger side. Because if you happen to spend a night at a campsite.

    Driver Side for my vote. You have full access to both the kitchen and rear drawers without the spare tire and swing gate interfering.
    If you flip kitchen to passenger side, you have to flip the swing action as well. This causes a safety issue. If you are on the side of the road and need access to the rear for emergency gear, the swing gate opens toward driver side and into rear approaching traffic. Just my two cents.

    • @loboadventuretrailers
      @loboadventuretrailers  6 місяців тому

      We’re actually looking for ways to lower weight and one of them is removing the rear swing out altogether and storing your spare tire underneath on an adjustable ballast system. Tons of fun stuff in the works.
      But I agree with you.

      Will it affect clearance? Ive seen others begin with the spare beneath but move to swing arm design to increase clearance. I would imagine 99% of clients aren't buying this type of trailer to stay at a RV park where passenger kitchen would be beneficial.

    • @loboadventuretrailers
      @loboadventuretrailers  6 місяців тому +1

      No we are designing it at a point to be same clearance as the suspension arms. No clearance loss

      What’s your target market for a such lighter trailer? If it’s the Subaru Outback crowd then ok, put the spare underneath. They aren’t going to be wheeling in heavily rutted roads. I personally won’t buy a trailer with the spare underneath.

    • @loboadventuretrailers
      @loboadventuretrailers  5 місяців тому +1

      @@DaveRobertson-tb6do we will make it both. Put a dirt bike in the rear toungue? Or a barbecue. Move the spare to the tongue mount. It will be more than enough for heavy wheeling. The small DINGO trailer will be light enough for Subaru crowds but capable enough to make it to chilkoot lake.

    I can see the argument for having it on the passenger side so you’re not extending your kitchen into moving traffic if you wanted to do a quick meal/drink stop🤙

    Kitchen on passenger side. All campgrounds from national parks, state parks, and private campgrounds are designed like this. Park tables, fire rings, congregating areas, etc are all on the passenger side. Drivers side in a campground would be awkward as you would be intruding on your neighbor who are in a traditional passenger side set-up enjoying smores by the fire with you basically in their space cooking a meal while your family is on the passenger side of the trailer enjoying the campground amenities. All camping memories are made on the passenger side. Would not be a buyer if passenger side were not an option.

      Love the feed back! Our final design will be modular. So customers can choose which side they’d like it on! New design easily allows us to change sides!!

    Passenger side. Why? Parked on the side of a road for a meal stop the kitchen is not extended out towards the roadway. Setting up at camp grounds, hook ups are generally on the drivers side. I’d rather not cook next to the sewer connections and electrical. At camp grounds the picnic tables and fire rings are generally on the passenger side where we would want to cook. Leave electronics on driver side, passenger side storage would work very well with kitchen on the passenger side for kitchen storage essentials. MnT

      These are all awesome comments. Considering I haven’t been to a campsite in about five years. I didn’t know that they were all that side. Would you normally be back in? Most campsites are not pull throughs… so that would make sense. What if we made it modular so you could order the orientation you wanted. ?

      @@loboadventuretrailers that a great idea, have it as a option to slide out driver or passenger side. I would think it could be designed that way. 👍 We would opt for passenger side. What ever works for the buyer, no wrong or right side. 🤷‍♂️

      So our new dingo trailer is going to be max weight 1500 pounds and it’s designed for Jeep owners. And the kitchen pull out is going to be modular according to what the customer asks so that should be pretty good.

  • @JordanPattersonM

    Passenger side kitchen setup all the way. We’ll be pulling this behind an RV which has everything happening off the passenger side while setup in camp. Drivers side is the only reason we wouldn’t purchase this incredible trailer. Those are my thoughts.
