Incredible to see how the skill level has gone up over the years. The way the pros played back then just looks shockingly puggy and bad by modern standards
The aim hasn't changed too much since pros were already well-trained from 1.6/Source, but guys like pronax and gla1ve have completely changed how the game is played. It's crazy to think about how the utility meta changed from HEs during NIP/fnatic to molotovs before HEs became meta again under Astralis.
Note that older demos are not very representative of how good players were back then because of the even lower tick rate and the fact that movement/shooting mechanics have changed over the years.
@zettour. The aim changed a lot. With lightweight mice and better sensors, and higher refresh rate monitors there have been more sick awp plays and sick transfers.
@@Evan-xs8ts When I reference their aim, I'm referring to a player's skill, not changes in game mechanics and peripherals.
@@zettour. wtf are you talking about if their skill isn't mechanics.
@@Evan-xs8ts Do you know what "game mechanics" mean? Do you know what "peripherals" mean? The former changed slightly and you're referencing the latter. I'm talking about a player's hand-eye coordination, tracking/flicking aim ability, etc. Using a different mouse or higher hertz monitors isn't indicative of skill or else flusha would be considered worse than literally everyone who plays CSGO today since he played on a potato.
Schneider carrying so hard that first half on mirage, man had 25 kills first half
So much nostalgia this video has, really miss the old days of CSGO
the ones before 2018 feel so nostalgic
That pasha play at Krakow Major was sooo cool to see live. I might've been the one who started the "Jarek Pasha Runda Nasza" chant haha. I remember randomly screaming that and people picked it up. But it might've been because I've heard someone else scream that but I honestly can't recall.
For krakow hobbit’s play should have been there
watched every major except 2013 ones
14:31 flusha VAC moment😂😂😂 🤔
I'd say have Hobbits 4k site hold and Dosia nade for Krakow.
First where Dosia moment PGL Major Krakow in final Immortals 1-2 Gambit on inferno? Second where Flamie moment IEM Katovice second Ace in match Faze Navi on inferno? And last where ropz moment in match BNE 1-2 Faze in mirage? I know this is your opinion but Dosia moment it's Graphites, Flamie absolute record 2 Ace on pistol round on 1 match, and ropz moment where he save Faze on major? Please answer me. Thanks in advance.
Anders the ultimate hype man

Bro didn't include HObbits 1v3 in a major FINAL? PGL Krakow 2017, bro...
Esl one cologne coldzera was the mvp, and his not in your list?
Kennys mvp cluj napoca 2015 and not in the list
You should do a video about Sick plays from Pros that moved to Valorant
Except it’s a csgo channel where ppl wanna watch csgo not it’s ass baby bro valorant
Highlights another proof of how dumb AWP sometimes is. All the best hightlights are made on rifle/pistol and the most questionable are AWP "clutch"
Olofmeister burning defuse is not that great of a play. When you think about it all he did was hold E. Anyone could do that.
It is iconic
ever heard about macro?
I've been saying this for years. Fnatic had a 2 man advantage and there would've been time to defuse after the molotov finished burning.
It's memorable / iconic since clutches are rarely won like that and it was a smart play that won them the round.
Not everything is about mechanical skill, there is also a lot of luck and knowledge that makes plays stand out.
Same reason why we remember Coldzera jumpshot and s1mple's heaven play. These plays are also from an objective standpoint not great and relied mostly on luck - but they are different and one of a kind plays so still cool.
