Have you ever had a herniated disk in your neck from leaning over during surgery? My husband had one and the ortho doctor he went to said he’s had it seven times from leaning over during surgeries!

I always assume pain that cannot be alleviated by stretching is gonna require medications at some point, I have very similar posture from programming & assisting in surgery , I have been on prescription opiates since I was 17 A 2013 study in the Journal of Addiction Medicine revealed that 69% of doctors abused prescription medicine “to relieve stress and physical or emotional pain.”

I had a fusion on my S1 L5 one year ago. I started to develop severe weakness and numbness around the fourth month after my surgery. They recently found nerve damage around the L5 and S1 and my neurosurgeon said it has nothing to do with the surgery and walked out on me. I am desperate. What can I do. I can hardly walk and can’t feel my feet at all.
Not just major surgeries but rven something as small as Disability paperwork to be filled out, the insurance companies will fight hand and foot to not pay.
Doc. given the time your surgeries often take you've got no other option but to get ripped and condition your body to endure such stress, kind of like the F1 drivers do. ;) ;) Cheers

Tumeric is good for chronic pain, but for acute pain, you will want opiates, or regional like lidocaine
Is it possible to move the operating table up or down? That may help elevate some tension & stress in those muscles. Just a thought!✌🏼
