@@panchocs0719 Oh believe me the Giants have nothing to be envious about, I wasn't implying that at all. Then again, not having won a (real) World Series title since the 1980's (yikes!) is definitely not something to be envious about either lol.
they are paying Lee $19 million a year yes but look at they paid $19 million last year for Peterson and what did they get? 15 HR and 51 Rbi's and he couldn't play any position on the field. At least Lee will be an upgrade for the outfield and he can work on the faster pitching. This is the same every year with Zaidi, he goes and plays this game with we're going to match the big guys for this big star when they know they are not going to get him, mean while there is a lot of quality players setting out there and buy the time he gets done playing this so called big deal the other teams are picking and trading for some good players. But he is making face to the owners and oh well maybe next year we'll get the big guy! And the ownership is fine because he is saving them money and us fans are paying the price. This will not be fixed until there is a cap on spending , then the millionaires won't be able to play their game anymore.
I saw an interview with Barry Bonds back when Tim Lincecum was in his prime. Barry was asked, “If you had to face Tim Lincecum, what would you do? What advice would you give to a hitter?” Barry responded, “Don’t swing. He doesn’t throw strikes.” I watched every highlight video I could find of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and pretty much everything he threw was off the plate. I wonder if Barry’s advice would work for team’s facing Yamamoto? Since he has been compared to Lincecum.
Yes, but the good pitchers make their pitches look like strikes, even if they may not be. That's what makes a good pitcher. Their is a reason why the good pitchers make hitters look bad, its because their stuff moves and or/disappears.
A little hope here - The Dodgers pitching staff is riddled with injuries. Ohtani, Glasnow, May, Buehler, all have significant injury history. To say that all these guys will be mainstays in the rotation for years to come is iffy at best. Ohtani is not going to pitch in 2024 and the odds are his pitching career will be limited going forward - two Tommy John surgeries usually means a drop off. Most guys don't come back from that, or aren't nearly the same pitcher. Yamamoto was pitching to AA and AAA hitters for the most part in Japan. You see how they swing...MLB hitters don't swing like that. He will be good but as dominate as he was in Japan? Doubtful. So bottom line the Dodgers are putting all their chips on the table and the odds of it all working out as they want it to are 50/50....

The fact is indisputabel. Farhan, spent $130 million of fans future money. He spent it on a prospect! Not a pro player with a track record. He spent that money on a minor leaguer!!! Ever faced mlb, pitchers. Small, frail, pin in broken ankle, not played on since injury. This sets up as the biggest waste of money in history. Desperation is causing a disaster in SF. Cash flows like a river, into pockets of owners, players all below $20 million. Which is now half what a real player gets, 30-40$ now. Its going the wrong direction. 700 mil on a DH yes would be bad business if it weren't Ohtani, he'll come back pitch in 25, if they're lucky they'll get 3-5 years max from his arm but Dodgers will get ROI within that time frame so real good business; and plus and this is the big one now, all of Japan is now the feeder nation for the Dodgers, Ohtani is recruiting! All good Japanese players will be recruited by Ohtani now he's there, who wants to bet Sasaki wont be there next year after he posts....
Feeling the need to clarify multiple times that it’s not sour grapes while giving a loud, emotional rant sure makes it seem like sour grapes.
Didn't they learn from Shinjo?😂
Let the kid play b4 you guys bring him down. Lee is hungry and will rep your team well. Giants should have signed Correa. That narrative would have played out sweet. Giants need Snell and Belli. Cause if they don't.... My Dodgers are gonna own the Giants for many many years to come. Viva Los Doyers
Why do you care about the amount of money someone gets? The giants have the richest owner in baseball. THE RICHEST!! They have the money!
We need to fire farhan. Then get someone who is willing make a trade. We need to do something huge like trade for luis Roberts and isaac parades. Offer products they can't say no to
LoooooL sour grapes on full display.
Yeah the pressure and expectations are definitely on the Dodgers. Win a World Series or be a failure and a laughing stock? Not a position I'd want to be in that's for sure.
Yea being a mediocre team getting rejected by every free agent. Yea definitely envy the giants right now😂
@@panchocs0719 Oh believe me the Giants have nothing to be envious about, I wasn't implying that at all.
Then again, not having won a (real) World Series title since the 1980's (yikes!) is definitely not something to be envious about either lol.
@@panchocs0719the hate is real 🤣
. in the SF Giants organization
protest the giants
The rivalry is better when the Giants are good. When both teams are competitive it’s the best in all sports. Comon Giants sign some dudes!
This is not Farhans fault. The Giants play in a city that’s a sh1th0le… nobody wants to go there!
they are paying Lee $19 million a year yes but look at they paid $19 million last year for Peterson and what did they get?
You guys are so wrong. people in america and around the world will watch baseball more because of this dodgers team.
I WANT ALL THE SF GIANTS EXECS FIRED
Charles Johnson needs to be bought out by an owner who wants to WIN...not line his pockets
I saw an interview with Barry Bonds back when Tim Lincecum was in his prime. Barry was asked, “If you had to face Tim Lincecum, what would you do? What advice would you give to a hitter?”
Barry responded, “Don’t swing. He doesn’t throw strikes.”
I watched every highlight video I could find of Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and pretty much everything he threw was off the plate.
Why would I sign lee, before I know????? $130 million
Change your baseball team
Sf has only Webb, Lee, Rogers, haniger. Signed in 25!!! About $70 million. This is the Oakland A's, yet its the 5th biggest market!!!! Lol lol
7th now but I see your point
Giants are cooked lmao nobody wants to play in SF
You guys ccouldn't even research the CBA rules before speaking on air??
Sounding like bafoons on the mic.
Cry me a river because it didn’t go your way lol. The fact of the matter is no one wants to play in San Francisco. Classic case of blaming everyone but the organization you root for lol! Chumps!
Just like golden state picking up Kevin Durant ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Hypocrisy 😂😂😂😂
Willard is cringe asf. I can't listen to nasal voice for longer than minute. He is so out of touch with reality.
Willard is absolutely unlistenable! Opinions are foul. Larry is an apologist. But he's right on the city. Buster is dumb to tell his opinion!! His opinion is ok. But he's in a sensitive post now! He's not as ready as he thinks.
The Dodgers are tired of choking. They are throwing money at that issue.
Well, sometimes you gotta pay big to win big.
Brothers us fans saw it as an excuse because money talks and at the end of the day if you’re Ohtani and get offered a billion whereas the next big deal is 20% less YOU’D TAKE IT. It’s too perfect for buster to come out after another massive FAILURE and talk about the low hanging fruit when the team that ended up getting these players have homeless encampments OUTSIDE THE PARKING LOT. Not even the giants have that. And not to mention LA has more violent crimes…HOW IS IT NOT AN EXCUSE? And sending posey out to do it as well was the obvious indicator as to what they were doing it was damage control how can you both not see that lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Waaaaaaaaa😢
Giants will be a small ball team,,,hit/run & steal bases & sacrifices
The fact is indisputabel. Farhan, spent $130 million of fans future money. He spent it on a prospect! Not a pro player with a track record. He spent that money on a minor leaguer!!! Ever faced mlb, pitchers. Small, frail, pin in broken ankle, not played on since injury. This sets up as the biggest waste of money in history. Desperation is causing a disaster in SF. Cash flows like a river, into pockets of owners, players all below $20 million. Which is now half what a real player gets, 30-40$ now. Its going the wrong direction. More like Yas, haniger, isnt solving jack schitt. Wasting time money no direction seat of your pants management. Sf is the team should move to Vegas, the choking As, can beat SF!!!!!! LA now spending 5 times more than the As!!!!!
Krueger is always doom and gloom. He is to old school to make any intelligent remarks.
Larry, speaks rational reasonable truth. To not recognize this, is to disqualify yourself!!! Numbby
You don't know what the hell you're talking about. He knows a lot more baseball than you'll ever see in your lifetime
Democrats and Newsom made San Francisco undesirable.. that’s the truth! Vote republican, fix your city, and I bet players start wanting to play in SF! Mark my word!
Go git r done somewhere else, yokel.
The city definitely needs to be cleaned up that's for sure
They just spent $19 million on Joc Peterson 😂
all of this just so the dodgers can Lose to the Marlins in the NLDS
The giants haven’t won a playoff series since 2014. You should worry about that embarrassment.
@@Ktaurus26 we’ll both be watching the World Series on the couch don’t worry 🥳
