I've heard it said that celebrities are responsible for about 5% of the vote. How this was determined is beyond me. Because a person can sing, or act, or tell funny jokes, or whatever is meaningless to me. If it is 5% who are influenced by these people, it's scary that it's that high.
Why does a large percentage of the public deify and pay ant attention to the opinions of most celebrities or television talking heads, most of which don’t have IQ’s above the temperature of a nice bath. Extremely few of either types have any critical thinking skills or intellectual capability. Ignore them or just laugh at them!
