This is amazing to see! Ed was the posterboy for cross country at our high school and he was already freakish fast then! Awesome to see where he is now. Getting into running this year and prepping for my first official run even above 5kms (city2surf) has been wild 😅 so this is inspiring as
Div1 🏀 6’6” wing here. These blokes would’ve smoked me in a race or marathon or even walking, insane cardio from these chaps but inspiring to go and get after it nonetheless
I've spent enough time with most of them alone, they're all great guys and super humble considering their accolades. Best recent example I can think of is Josh Phillips giving advice to younger up and coming athletes who are newer and telling them about how it's fine to let others beat you in workouts, and to stick to true threshold - and that it doesn't matter if people think you're slow just because they are doing speed and you're doing threshold. Josh is a 13:34 5k guy and doesn't mind hopping in doing a 3:30 tempo workout with me too Kieren Tall had one crazy year where he won so many state titles before his big injury, and he's always treated me super nice. He had multiple years off due to injury, no one remembers his prime, but he doesn't boast and remind everyone about it, and he's working his way back to the top now Ed's probs won just about every single road race in the past 2.5 years in Sydney, so I guess he has a right to be Ed haha, although you'll see in upcoming videos, he's way more chill/mellow when doing more solo workouts and hanging out in smaller groups! I think the banter between Ed/Kieren/Josh may be what gave you those ideas, but I'm assuming they are super close as they've been competing alongside each other for almost two decades in Sydney Also, Logan Campbell, easily the nicest/most caring guy I've met, and super humble considering how accomplished he is as a junior Summary is - they mess around and flex PB's to each other but outside of that setting, they aren't talking about themselves, they are pretty selfless Absolutely correct regarding Tom Do Canto though haha, he's a big legend!
Ed Goddard was absolutely cracking. Running at that kind of pace and he wasn’t even puffing. That’s fitness 🔥

Tom Do Canto seems like a nice guy. The others seems a bit up themselves. Hope I’m reading it wrong and they’re actually alright.

@@SotaMaehara Exactly right Sota, all of them are great guys, just like to put on a bit of a show for the camera
Ed loves putting on too many shows for the camera though lol - man takes 2 hours to start a bloody workout
