AR-15 SBR Pistol powder 5 56 reloads

Trying to reload 5.52 cartridges with H110 pistol powder to reduce unburned powder muzzle flash of factory rifle ammo and maintaining about 2500 ft/s muzzle velocity. I reached pressure limits!

Intresting concept but I go the other way, loading my .357 with fast rifle powder for my 18"...also much safer :-)

Of course the velocity is going to be higher, because the powder is burning in the case and the barrel not outside of the barrel.

My first thought about pistol powder was, what kind of chamber pressures will you see? Would be interesting to measure the actuals. In any event, I thought I was the crazy one! 😂

When I saw 2960 ft/s out of the 7.5 inch barrel I knew I was in trouble LOL

Yeah, pressure!! 2gn increments?? EVERYONE SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL THAN THIS! CHECK YOUR BRASS!!
