- Our Whirlpool Cabrio Washer was suffering from an Unbalance error. Here are steps to Easily Enter Diagnostic Mode on a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. This model is a wxw7300x1 and was about 10 years old. Instead of steps rotating the center knob, you need a button press sequence.

Thanks for posting the repair manual. I was able to fix our oL code based on page 3 (3:30 in video). There was corrosion on the spindle that I filed down.
That is awesome! Great job tracking it down and fixing it. So cool then not have to buy a new machine when you can. Just spend a few minutes fixing it yourself.

Hi thank you for this. By chance what is the calibration for this? I changed the suspension rods and everyone talks about running a calibration but I do not see it in the screenshot.

I have same washer but problem is there’s no power.. so diagnostics don’t work. Any idea?
Yikees. I have no idea on power stuff. Whenever I open the back I unplug stuff...
What is someone replaced shaft and drain pump. Will resetting mode work??
I am not sure if that will solve it, but at least you know how to get into diagnostic mode.

I did not. We bought a replacement and I made that video about 15 minutes before that one was hauled away.

Our starts abruptly and bangs for a few seconds at startup even though we changed the struts. It’s 10 yrs old and in good shape otherwise. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?
