- DirecTV Freeview recorded live at the One World Theatre in Austin, TX on 19 November 2003. Broadcast to promote Rodney's "Fate's Right Hand" album released that same year. ...from my VHS collection.
One of the best song & Lyric writers. So poetic, such progressive melodies.
Rodney has always been great, and he keeps getting better..
In my top 8 albums of all time any type of music
Thank you for this! It is a real treat! Excellent band and Rodney Crowell's playing and singing and songs are masterclass.
Thanks for looking! Rodney is a great American treasure. If you get a chance to see him live… do it!
Rodney Crowell definately is a stud in my book! Happy to say I got to see him in 2018 in Jasper Indiana.
Rodney is a blessing to his fans, classic hard work pays off in life's journey. Discover him and you will understand
I have loved this guy's music for 40 years, and played many of his songs on stage. Just something true, relevant, impactful that makes me think about WHY he wrote these songs. He is just honest, brutally opinionated. A TRUE AMERICAN CLASSIC.
I also just found Rodney's music. Which is ok gives me something to look forward too
If you ever have a chance to see him in person, don’t pass it up. I saw him here in the Heights! Unbelievable!!!! One of my life’s greatest experiences!
Hello Sarah
How are you doing today?
It's nice meeting you here
Agreed. I just saw him in Tucson and it was one of the best performances I've ever seen, and given that I'm 71, and I've been going to concerts for over half a century, I think that says something. Rodney Crowell is one of music's best kept secrets.
I never seen this before. It´s fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
And such a cool guy.
Rodney Crowell is just what we need to hear in these crazy times.😊# Baytown, Tx
this popped up as a suggestion while listening to Townes, never really checked out Rodney's music but this great stuff, excellent audio quality, thanks for sharing
I’ve been a fan since his days in the late 70’s. He’s a terrific guy. He’s super nice and has roughly 20+\- 💿 CDS. 🎉
Check out his dear friend Guy Clark too.
@@michaelkenna2024 yes Guy is great. But for some reason I'm drawn more towards Townes. Def will check out more of Rodney though

Please gift yourself a dive into Rodney’s large songbook.
Brilliant. ❤
The One World Theater is likely the finest musical venue in the entire Austin, Tx. area. 🎉
This was a great evening of fun and music for us.
Just can't get better then that , amazing.
Just listened to it once again, and it made me cry... so inward and moving 😥
Too bad they skipped the 8 bars nursery rhyme on the bass at the end of the last song, so heart touching.
...Trey Landry on drums and Will Kimbrough on gtr.
Denny Bixby on bass.
Backup singer playing keys?
So glad you posted this!
This is a great band! They’re nailin it!
I want to buy the dvd, but had no luck finding it?
Saw this amazing group of Maestros during this same tour at the GPAC (Germantown, TN Performing Arts Center). What a show! Learned a lot from all these amazing artists, especially young Trey Landry on drums.
This is a wonderful concert by the GREAT RODNEY CROWELL.
Hello Christine
How are you doing today?
It's nice meeting you here
@@OfficialRodneycrowellchannel I'm doing well, Rodney. How are you?
@@christinezimmermann4502 I'm okay Christine. May I know where you're commenting from?
Now that’s how a Strat is supposed to sound! 🤩
Thanks for posting this. Who is the keyboard player and singer. Very nice. It's amazing how good he was and is! I just saw him a few moths ago at the Alex Theater in Glendale. He and his supporting guitarist and fiddler/mandolin player were fantastic. The only bummer was the light attendance. Nevertheless, he got the whole crowd into the Pancho and Lefty sing-along!
Very good, enjoy it .
Thank You!!
What year was this concert? I had never heard of Rodney Crowell' until he was in an outdoor, free concert here in Oak Ridge. His song, Something's Gotta Change made an impression on me, and now I have found other songs I really like.
It's from 2003, it was broadcast to promote Rodney's "Fate's Right Hand" album released that same year. If you want to learn a little more about Rodney, find the 1976 movie/documentary "Heartworn Highways". It's a really cool doc.
@@GoDawgs65 Are you from Cleveland? Dawgs
@@janjoyal6012 no ma'am. Georgia, as in BullDAWGS!
2002. In the interview he said he was 52.
