Thank you for helping clarify a lot of things for me. I will be finishing with my conversion course in psychology this September. I got offers recently for a volunteer and care roles. So, been thinking of the next step to achieving my goal to be a clinical psychologist. Here, you mentioned assistant psychologist. I will keep this in mind as my next step. However, do you know of any apprenticeships pathways to become a clinical psychologist? I'm curious. Please, let me know your thoughts.
Unfortunately, I can't think of anything off the top of my head. It might be worth checking the NHS website.
Hi, I loved your video, I have finished my bachelor's in psychology but still, because of the accreditation, I was wondering if I have to do another master's after doing a conversion course to pursue a doctorate further? Or is the conversion course enough? And I can proceed further with my studies?
Hello. Generally, doctoral degrees (like DClinPsy) require that your undergrad degree is BPS accredited and a conversion course would allow for the accreditation for you to proceed to doctoral programmes. However, please note that DClinPsy programmes are very competitive especially for international students (not trying to scare you though). For more information, you can speak to individual universities and they would be happy to assist you. Hope this helps!

what about jobs in organisational psychology after masters
Hello. Many corporate companies require organisational psychologists these days- you can work in the HR department, consultants in the NHS, etc. Indeed and other such platforms are good places to look for these kind of jobs. Hope this helps!
Hello, my quesion is that is it possible to go for counselling or psychotherapy in MSc and Doctoral degree in clinical psychology? I have done my bachelor's in psychology and advanced diploma in clinical psychology. But I am getting admission in Msc Counselling which will help me out in my clinical practice as well. Please suggest something whether I should go for Msc clinical psychology or counselling is a better option. If I do Msc in counseling and then in Doctoral I go for clinical psychology so can I do that or not. Thank you
hey may i ask what was your ug degree? and are you gonna pursue a dclinpsych after your masters?
Hello ma'am
I am doing my Bachleors in psychology in India and want to pursue Dclinpsy in UK but before that i am planning to do a master in UK as well. As you said we need to make sure that our visa should allows to work during Dclinpsy so what should i take into consideration while applying for my visa for master as usually one has 2 years of working allowed after their degree in UK as much as i know so can you just let mr know what i should take into consideration while applying for my visa?
And will NHS fund my Dclinpsy being an international student?
Can u do a video for a educational psychologist too?
Hello Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, definitely!
Hey madam how's the future for MSC psychological students in uk
Hello ! Thank you for the information . I really appreciate it . I just have one query . It may seem a bit stupid to ask but I've been having this for a long time . My question is "can I do a dclin.psychology after doing my bachelors or is it necessary to have a master's degree before doing a dclin degree ?
Hello. A master's degree is not always a requirement to do a DClinPsyc degree. However, if you are an international student and if your bachelor's degree is not BPS accredited then a master's conversion course is a requirement before pursuing a DClinPsyc degree. Hope this helps!
@@sumbulsyed95 thankyou ! And yes , it did help me .

Plz guide fir chemistry ND mathematics combination course and colleges
I don't have a background in chemistry or mathematics so not sure which colleges are good for these fields. I make videos for people interested in psychology or videos that are relevant to study abroad aspirants/university students in general.
if i have done an honors in psychology in my undergrad, would it be possible to get an admission in a BPS accredited MSc. course ? or do i need to obtain BPS accredition for bachelors? how would i do that? I'd be very thankful if you revert back to it!
Since you already hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, you should be able to get admitted to a BPS accredited master's courses. If you are interested whether your bachelors degree would be recognised by the BPS, you can always email them for a confirmation. Hope this helps!
Hello, could you please tell me whether for international students work experience from their home country counts as relevant work experience, thank you.
Yes, it definitely does!
HELLO maam, what about Bsc. Health and Social care scope in the UK after graduation and will it registered or not ?
Sounds like an interesting programme. Unfortunately, I am not well aware of the specific jobs available after completing this degree. Have you managed to find any information in the programme description page? Usually universities mention these things on their programme website.
Hi Sumbul
I have a 4 years degree in Psychology (Pakistan) and MSc from Brunel University London.
I don’t have too much relevant experience.
What shall I do? Where shall I start? I’m confused.
Please guide a bit
Best wishes
Gaining any relevant experience can feel daunting in the beginning but there's always a starting point. Are you referring to clinical or research experience?

Hi Devendhu. Some students go for clinical jobs and some opt for jobs in research. You might be able to work in the NHS/volunteer though you must check in advance whether such jobs hire undergrad students. Hope this helps!

Hello. You should be able to find information on the official website of BPS (British Psychological Society).

Is it possible to do PhD/DClin Psyo after MSW
Hello. I am not entirely sure but your best bet would be to look at the eligibility criteria since this is where it's usually mentioned who all can apply. As a general rule, as long as you are able to demonstrate your reasons for pursuing a degree based on your relevant experiences and background, you can apply. Hope this helps!
Hey have you pursued psychology further than masters or started working in the field? What's your journey?
Hello. I did my undergrad in Economics, a PG Diploma in Counselling Psychology and a master's in Psychology and Mental health. Currently I am working and actively looking for opportunities in research. Hope this helps!

Hi if I completed my msc in clinical psychology under BPS but i am an international student do NHS fund me for psyd
Hello. There are some universities in the UK offering NHS funded DClinPsyc degrees and international students are eligible. However, many universities don't due to visa restrictions. So it is always a good idea to get in touch with universities and request information regarding the eligibility. Hope this helps!

Which membership is better, APA or uk.?
No membership is better/inferior than the other one. It entirely depends upon one's career goals to work in a particular country.
Can I qualify for a paid Dclincy with a post study work visa?
I am sorry I don't understand the question.
How much it will cost to study in uk
It depends entirely on the university, programme and the city you will be living in.
