Hi! I have a Bachelor's in English and I wish to take a conversion course (MSc) in Psychology. But my real aim is to do a PhD in Neuroscience. Will my conversion degree be sufficient for me to be selected as a PhD candidate in a university in the UK? Or do I need a proper MSc in Neuroscience (or a related field) on top of my conversion degree to be eligible for PhD?

Very good advice... and about choosing a course that isn't too easy or too difficult is absolutely correct. You talk about some very famous/great universities, but most good universities (red-brick) have very solid courses and very good quality faculty.

I went to edinburgh and they didnt teach me anything, I just was given reading to do, and essays to hand in. They did fk all got a Master od Arts in religious studies with honous though... which qualified me for....... wait for it...... Fk all I mght as well use the certificate to wipe my arse

So, been thinking of the next step to achieving my goal to be a clinical psychologist. Here, you mentioned assistant psychologist. I will keep this in mind as my next step. Hi, I had my undergrad in btech, and I am currently pursuing my ba in psychology in distance learning. So is it mandatory that I complete my ba in psychology or can I apply for the masters in clinical psychology in uk with the btech undergrad degree. I wish to focus on my career on practising as a clinical psychologist. So can you help me out on the path that I should follow. Hello ma'am I am doing my Bachleors in psychology in India and want to pursue Dclinpsy in UK but before that i am planning to do a master in UK as well. As you said we need to make sure that our visa should allows to work during Dclinpsy so what should i take into consideration while applying for my visa for master as usually one has 2 years of working allowed after their degree in UK as much as i know so can you just let mr know what i should take into consideration while applying for my visa? And will NHS fund my Dclinpsy being an international student?
