Paper Quilling Spirea Flowers and a Short Plant Vlog 🌿 Relaxing Art

Hi friends! In today's video, I'm continuing my experiments with 0.5mm wide paper strips and showing you some of my real plants. I originally started making paper flowers because the potted ones I kept buying never lasted long. However, for the past two years, I've been trying again with a few easy-to-care-for plants, and now my collection is slowly growing.
As for my mini paper strips, after some practice, I'm finally getting more comfortable cutting them. They're just perfect for my latest project: crafting delicate Spiraea flowers. This charming plant is part of the Rose family and is native to Japan. A variety also grows here and it's such a joy to see them in full bloom as spring ends.

I really don’t know how you manage to keep creating such perfect quilled flowers Manuela. These spirea flowers are just astonishing, so tiny and delicate and detailed. I love how you take such care and attention with the leaves also so that the whole spray looks like it has just been picked from the garden. As a matter of interest how long does it take you to make a spray of flowers and leaves like this? I can only imagine it must have been many hours. You are a true master of your craft.
