I will modify my 2016 sr 50 with these parts, 70cc replica, phvb, vl13 mhr, stock airbox red sponge, yasuni r, what main jet size to start tuning the carb? cold here in Europe, thats a factor also 😬
@@scooterstreetau A question about intake manifold!! Got the malossi 360 manifold that fits the phvb, Malossi code 2014519, but the angle of the carb will not work, almost standing on the end?? Can i buy one from you that levels the carb and also makes it possible to get close enough to connect to the stock airbox? or if not where do i find one? And how do you connect the phvb and stock airbox?
My first scooter was a gilera runner 125 with a 172 conversion . This is going way back probably 15 years ago now ! It was highly sought after in london , after multiple attempted thefts from garden i eventually sold it for £3k and brought a car . Ive had mutliple ducatis , and ive got to say bang for buck , that gilera was one of the most fun bikes of them all !
Hello, ive wanted to ask if it save for me to install a 70cc on my high milage crank, my scooter has 36k km on it and im scared it almost at it end, do i need to install a new one or i should be ok
Is a 22phvb too big for a polini sport kit one just came up for sale on my fb and this guy is selling it for a steal should i get it and do i need a different intake manifold because im still running the factory 17.5 carb?
Can you make a max out 4stroke 50cc or take the most ugly 50cc or a Cross/dirt like or before and after video maintenance, to show that even a 50cc needs maintenance (i hop it is the right word, Kundendienst in German). Or options for better air cooling or how much improvement brings a custom ignition timing curve (with dyno and so) or what Parts you can use from a newer generation or wpc treatment for a 2Stroke or to make it less fuel consumption or to get a better oil ration like 50:1 to maybe 100:1 or higher and blow your engine (colder plugs?!?) or can i use a stepper motor for throttle (throttle by wire, if it's possible you maybe have a Crouse control) or makes it a difference to cut the restrictior shorter (police) or change to a bigger restrictior and shot them. That's all i have in mind
Hey Alexander, thanks for comment. If we get 1 come through we will do the video. The main reason is that the 50cc 4T is so slow and very expensive to modify for a reasonable advantage.
Hi so I have an SR50 Euro4 and Im wondering will the bike run good with the mhr replica, a 21mm carb, yasuni r and malossi 13/48 secondary gears (I heard the gears are shorter on the E4 models and my bike currently stops at 75 km/h)
10:00 i see a lot destroyed Hiper2 OEM cranks and bearings even on full stock scooters(Runner, SR, NRG), crank literally snap on variator side, behind oil/water pump belt "sprocket", also OEM KBC Korea crank bearings are crap, on my Runner they had "half meter" gap, new stock scooter with only 4500km, only good bearings for Hiper2 crank is NTN Japan(not Taiwan), and Koyo Japan, mine NTN has 62 000km and still runnin', engine is 50cc, but still impressive i think One good hack for airbox, try to find old Piaggio big "triangle" airbox, it's better than this SR(or small Runner and NRG) stock airbox, i have it on Dellorto 17.5 phva, also you can use it with 19 and 21mm carbs, but for bigger carbs you must bore the inlet hole
@Vel_178 Yes, the Black Throphy for me is the most reliable kit as a daily. Have it on my Speedfight 3 AC, 4000km with a piston ring change at 2k to get back the compression and it runs like new!
@scooterstreetau Nooooooo😭‼️🤣🤣🤣 Thanks and what are a scooter with good front Brakes? A friend of mine have a Hercules Splinter (Peugeot speedage) the front Brake is awesome, but rear brake is worse than Piaggio.
not really popular in australia, but mid-race parts are the same for Peugeot (like the MHR Replica cylinder, yasuni r, etc.). But, for high-end parts, nothing is really available new, since most of the stuff is discontinued.
I always comment positively on your videos and this one is Stella .....What a fantastic video thankyou
Hi Charlie, we love positivity and you have heaps of it, thanks for your wonderful support🙌
The best video I've ever seen. The advice can be used for various 2 stroke scooters in general. Simply great 👍 👌
@overlandworld2253 Thank you so very much, appreciate the wrap🙌
hello why do you always put malossi cylinders? why not stage6?
Stage 6 is so expensive to ship to Australia, if we buy a $200 Cylinder the shipping from Stage 6 cost $160
Thank you so much Brad.. As I have just bought one this week timing could not be better... Awesome work..
Hi Nick, What year? COngrats, you have just purchased one of the greatest scooters🎉
@scooterstreetau Thank you. It's a 2017. And loving it.

Pretty much the perfect scooter!
Can you do a video for 50cc 2 stroke how to set corectly the floath boath on carburator??
THat is a good idea, most are set from factory and some can be adjusted by heating the plastic or bending the metal support in favour.
Cilinder gasket 0,50mm for model with high compression and 0,75 mm for base model? THX!!
TRUE, you certainly know your scooter engines.
I have a aprilia sr50r 2020 and one exhaust stud bolt snapped in half when I was removing my exhaust… What Should I do?
You will need to drill and tap it out to remove. watch a video on how to remove a broken bolt.

Good idea to upgrade crank and bearings, but if you want just put the kit on. It totaly depends on so many factors.
@@scooterstreetau i was thinking about to do it on my own, do you suggest any cranks i should use?
@a_person7036 Malossi.

If the price is right I think a good buy, are all the parts in tact? Yes I beleive the intake is larger and we have available.
How about mod video for 1985-86 Honda Gyro S ?

22mm Carburator malossi
Malossi MHR 70cc replica 318466
Yasuni R

Stock ignition

Would recommend new crankshaft, yasuni r is not optimal for MHR cilinder..
Do you get enough RPM from this setup on those gears?
Carb and exhaust dont match. With Yasuni R a 17.5mm is enough. Want to stick with your 22mm? Than get a C16.
