When the pressure plate moves outward the metal plates and friction plates magically separate... Every video I've watched never mentions how the plates seperate and why they don't continue to stick together after the pressure plate moves out...
The mechanism of clutch actuator is pretty straightforward actually, on some low displacement motorcycles, they have a pushrod in the center of clutch axle and a cam lever on another side of engine, when clutch lever is pulled, cam lever rotates, and push the rod against the pressure plate, moving it outward. When the clutch plates and metal plates are no longer pressed together, the clearance between them is sufficient enough to interrupt the power and of course, due to some kind of force? (Sorry, I’m not physicist) they do separate a little bit, probably less then 1 mm
@@WONMARK there is no force that separates the clutch plates. It works on pressure, push your hand hard onto a smooth surface and try to slide it. Now without removing your hand, release the pressure, you can slide your hand across the surface. This is what the pressure plate in the clutch is doing.
keep ur palm on a running wheel... and then give pressure on ur palm... u will see ur hand try to rotate with wheel... and then easy thr pressure ur palm then u will see the wheel rotating but not ur hand... same the clutch works...that pressure is sending to the friction plate (like ur palm) through the pressure plate... pressure plate is like a diaphrme spring plate... u relase pressure from it it will came back from friction plate...
The plates don't have to separate. The plates are free to slide axially. Once the pressure plate pulls away, the frictional force practically disappears so they just spin against each other even if they are still touching. Hence why motorcycle clutches are "wet", so the oil in them can lubricate them while they are spinning against each other.
So, fully pulling the clutch while riding down the hill doesn't result in any damage to the clutch mechanism. Is that so? Please correct me if I'm wrong
I don’t get it. My cr85 when it’s installed, the “plunger” is all the way in (flush to the clutch cover). So if you pull the clutch lever , it pushes out the “plunger” to engage the clutch plates/springs. It’s doing the opposite of this example. There’s only one way to install this, can someone please help explain that to me?
tell me one thing which I am here for..... while we #1st start #releasit #cluth #slowly to make the bike move ..... all these plates must not be in same RPM right ???? Please reply
Hello, the video is great and instructive, I would ask you if you can give advice, I have a yamaha fz600s2 2009 that crashes a lot when I put in first gear and from first to second, it is also very audible from third to second, why is this happening people tell me that it is normal for that model, when the oil is cold then it is great otherwise I use FUCHS SILCOLENE COMP 4 10W-40. Hello from Croatia.
The last animation confuse me. It looks like you mixed something up. In this assembly you would need to push the pressure plate outside trough the input shaft.
Then how come I've only seen the lever on the OTHER side of the case PUSH a rod that went through the shaft to PUSH the pressure plate away? I've never seen one set up the way this video shows.
Usually on the older models of motorcycle or bike mnfacturer styles. modern engines have clutch assembly on the right side of the engine, hence the location of it. modern engines also utilise the push rod to have it worked in the same principles, though the layout varies from bike to bike
Size. Cars can have much larger area for flywheels and pressure plates of much larger diameter that's not really possible on a motorcycle. The stacks allow more square millimeters of clutch material in a smaller diameter clutch basket.
This is the best explanation of the clutch operation.
No its not...
Aye
@simfumenetembani3120 I think it's an excellent explanation. Not sure what ya'll think is so complicated about this haha
Simple, yet best clutch explanation I've ever seen, thx!
Girlpthrough m
yes
This is the clearest explanation of clutch
Man it's that simple and people never told me, whenever I asked them or they give me a complicated explanation.
Good animation , simple clear explanation , Thank you very much and very useful indeed...😇
Simple to follow. Great job!
This video regarding Clutch Operation is very very useful. I like it so much. Thank you very much !
Woow... no douubt to say that The best ever cluctch explanation which I have watched until now❤.... KEEP IT UP BRO❤
Now I have a knowledge the principles of motorcycle clutch, thanks for this nice video animation.
Very educational, now i understand the works of clutch. Thank you
Thanks for explaining clutch working so beautifully. 👍🏻

చాలా బాగా అర్థమైంది nice video...
thank you very much for the helpful video...especially I like the cross section figure at 3:21. Thank YOU...
Realy Good video for beginners, full support 👍
Awesome explanation keep it up...🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤
Please make a video on bike engine working principle...this one was really helpful 👍👍
Best explanation...thank u so much 🙏🙏
Really good explanation 👌
Now I understand how clutch works .
Thanks.... New support from Philippines ❤
Hadir nyimak boss ku suksesselalu buatbossku 👍👍 ini
the knowledge that is shared, is very useful
Thanks a lot for this very clear explanation
Very useful video 🙂🙂👍
this is the best explanation of tha clutch operation 🏍️ butful
Now I understand little bit about how clutch does the work of input & output power effectively.
❤wow i think i learned a lot
Very well explained, thnx 😊👍
So, fully pulling the clutch while riding down the hill doesn't result in any damage to the clutch mechanism. Is that so? Please correct me if I'm wrong
But how does half clutch works? How does the rough lining plates still can grip even though the clutch lever has been pulled??
Thanks for clutch explanation
What software do you use to simulate? Thank you, I really want to learn software to be able to do what you do, please

makasih...makasih...makasih atas pencerahannya yang seserhana sehingga mudah saya mengerti
Nice explanation video..
Nice Video, n ,d ,3D, explanation,,
Very nice 👍 & very useful
wow nice vlog about clutchlining
Thank you for your blog
i cant handle the robot voice!!
Nice tutorial
Excellent explanation
Best explanation.. Thanks
Stephen Hawking was doing motorcycle voice-over work?
tell me one thing which I am here for.....

Good video
Good video. Explained well
Can I know why bike never goes back when we start it why the engine rotates in same direction how can it rotate in same direction
nice demo
Really helpful explanation, thank you sir!!!
Doesn't really show how the couch lever makes the clutch plates separate while going against the springs
Nice information bro
Please discuss clutch in semi automatic motorcycle, thank you sir
Nice information.
Fentastic 👍💝

Mr you need to change cluch plates if it damage.
Can u make motorbike auto clutch video?
Jos maskku 👍
It’s the clutch speaking
It is good animation videos...
Please let us know if we can used this to support my videos...

Amazing explanation
Good explanation Stephen Hawking!!
so it's the four springs which keep input & o/p always engaged.
Easy to understand

Not gonna lie, I've expected a Mississippi Queen to play in the background
need operation of follower with cam sprocker and push bars.thanks
Fcc ki pressure plate hoti h k ni??
Nice video💪
Well explained thanks
Informative indeed but can be made more exciting. And use a human voice not a computerized one. Thanks
Up load More,,
Thank you very much yuo smart and nice
Why 4 sets of clutch plates working simultaneously and not a single on like motorcar?

nice tipz sending full support itsrichie channel
Perfect🎉🎉🎉🎉
very helpfull
I liked the simplicity. Didn't go very far past the clutch itself, but maybe that is deliberate. Lots of stuff they didn't cover.

please can you tell me the name of this music
Nice!
👍 Excellent.
fantastic video tnx
So glad 👨💻👍
But I still don't understand why you need to
hold the clutch in first gear before throttling
Do u know now?
First few seconds you were on beat, you should've made the whole thing a song
Good thanks
I like this video

How much time can this clutch work correctly?
This is excellent
Arr you relating to the countryball channel, your voice is quite familar.
