      I used to be like that, because my hair is super straight, I started to do smaller and tighter curls and sprayed straight after, then when I brush them out I'd spray them again and surprisingly they stay until next morning!

    As a fan of retro style, I must say that this look is stunning.
    At first I don't think the makeup is "retro" enough for me but then after you did your hair, everything fell into place. Really gorgeous.

    This was such a wonderful tutorial! I never do my hair or makeup, and I used your tutorial to get ready for a Back to the Future themed party last night, and everyone was so impressed with my hair. It was super easy to do, and the results were amazing. Thank you!!

    So glad to have found this! I'm a model on the west coast and am used to having my hair and make done for me, but today I have a pinup shoot and have to do my own hair and makeup. I was super nervous but you made it seem really easy and straightforward. Thanks so much! I will definitely send pics when I get access to them!

      Lo Lo victory rolls tray lean more towards the forty’s. In the 59s women kept their hair a little shorter. They were actually much more casual, all though they wore brighter cloths and wore more dutiable materials. The war kinda prevent style in the forty’s from really taking off.

      @Some0ne001 8 років тому +5

      Karol Moo yeah that was a problem back then but I don't think as bad as we all think it really was though. You also got to remember that was the time when women stepped up to the plate and did the jobs that the men did because the men were off fighting War. Women did the same things that men did not because like today if they need to feel equal or with all this feminist stuff either. They took over those jobs and worked for the sake of their husbands and Sons and their loved ones that were fighting and not for superficial things or insecurities like some do today. To me personally I believe neither is a man without the woman nor is the woman without the man we need each other and I have no respect whatsoever for people who think one of the Sexes are better than the other.

    Nice look but pinup makeup is never "dewy"... it's supposed to be matte. Just saying.

      Anon Swan and no one contoured back then. It's almost like what is the point of this video? Keep it true or don't post it.

    Love the look! I have long hair that I just dyed white blonde, and was having a hard te doing a victory roll. The two medium size on the top are perfect for me. I'll post a pic when I'm done!

    Absolutely! Just take the sections from the hair behind your bangs and leave the bangs styled as you normally do. If you have shorter face framing layers, leave those out too, or else they may stick out and be hard to work with :).
