Love the Hinsons! Kenny was such an incredible talent. I once heard that he was offered contracts with record labels to sing country music but he always turned them down and stayed true to gospel. He was gone from this world way to soon.
Look for Michael Combs, Charlie Landsborough, the Crabb family...there's still a few good ones for God out here singing from their hearts & souls ...charlie has a great testimony many here on youtube, live performances! Same for michael combs...look for his live version of Not For Sale where he wrote about being offered a contract & turned them down & wrote that into that song! Singing for God, not the $...charlie's the same & has many, great songs he's been blessed with some Spirit filled lyrics & sings them all with a truly unique God given style that as soon as one hears & sees him sing, you know they're filled with the holy spirit!
where can I find the Kenny Hinson collection album Gwen. I love Kenny Hinson. Actually I love the Hinson family completely. Even the new generation of The Hinsons. But again Kenny is my favorite. -Wayne Brock- you can find me on Facebook Gwen.
I believe Kenny went on to be with the Lord in July, 1995. 😢😢 I'll bet Kenny and Larry are having the time of their lives, l can't begin to imagine the joy they're feeling!!!❤❤
I noticed the Bakersfield's sound in the hinson's the first time I heard him all the great artists Buck Owens Merle Haggard Dwight Yoakam and the hinson's also all had a very unique sound that you didn't hear no where else in country music
5:25 Fred Newell on Banjo, a Genius on any Instrument. He played Steel Guitar on Porter's last album"Wagon Master", along with Marty Stuart and the Superlatives. And Fred and the rest backed Porter up on David Letterman's Late Night Show in 2007,not to long before Porter passed.
Does Linda always sing a quarter tone sharp or just on this song? Good gracious. Monitoring issue? And on the same program with one of the greatest singers of all time, Kenny Hinson, no less! 😮

He’s alright I guess but Buck Trent was The Best!!!
Somebody nobody ever talks about and I see very few videos of is Linda Carroll Moore. She was very good always happy and underrated.

Funny watching him feed his dog candy on the stage of the Opry.
I don’t think this was at the Opry. This was one of the stages at Opryland which is no longer there.
@@RC-ou9qg You're right. It was in the Opryland Park. Not the Opry Stage.
Donald Trump on the fiddle at 1:28
In the seventies AND EIGHTIES THEIHINSONS WOULD COME TO BROTHER MATHENYS CHURCH IN DUNCAN OKLAHOMA THRIR BROTHER LIVED IN DUNCAN HIS Nme was calvin
Anybody know the background singers?
Porter did more for Gospel music than Bill Gaither as far as the Hinson's are concerned.
