I remember seing the Hinsons and the Happy Goodmans at the shreveport munisapal auditorium the spirit of God came in waves you could feal it coming across the crowd and when it got to me it came through the top of my head and swooshed out the bottom of my feet thirty five years and Jesus is still that real
I sure wished Kenny life hadn't been cut short. He was a wonderful singer. I still enjoy listening to him all the time. Never gets old. All the Hinson's are so talented.
I agree. They had a special anointing. There are great Southern Gospel groups today, but really not many compare to the Hinsons wonderful spiritual presence. They were the kind of group that you knew you were gonna "feel" something, and that's what they wanted.
Kenny is so much fun to watch when Ronny is carrying on, which is a compliment. I have always, since I first seen them, loved this group. Kenny is like a teddy bear. He's just such a delightful man. I sure miss him. One day, though, I will get to meet all the Hinsons, but above all, I will see my sweet Jesus!!! God Bless You, Gwen
I like to think that there are indeed gospel singers out there today whose love of God exceeds their love of money. However, it's just not humanly possible to be any more talented than Kenny Hinson was. In my book, that's why we'll never see another group as talented as the Hinsons were.
Absolutely Love and Enjoy The Hinsons,I was a young Girl whenever they came to Our Church,And their message of their songs have remained in my Heart,Thanks to a Momma that kept me in Church,we don't hear this kind of Holy Ghost Preaching and singing no more,But i know its Coming :-)
Loved this group! Kenny Hinson inspired so many singers (myself included) to pursue God with their talents. Got to meet Kenny and Ronnie years ago. Very down to earth Spirit filled folks. Really miss this group!
Ronny Hinson and wife was at Mountain Springs Full Gospel Church in Arkansas, 12/10/11. He is still the same. Sounds great, still writing songs, still loves the Lord. It is inspiring to see that he loves the Lord and has kept on keeping on for over 45 years.(He was very young when he got started. Did I hear about 2 years old?) lol I can't think when I have enjoyed myself more.
Ronny is still on the road doing a solo ministry. In fact, he was at my church a couple weeks ago. As of right now, he doesn't have a web site so it's kinda hard to keep up with his schedule. I have his office phone number if anyone wants to look into booking him.

I enjoy songs sung by the folks that know what they are singing about.
