Running 8 miles a day on hard concrete for 6 years and training with the navy seals probably doesn’t really help the knees or back either. You should see his daily workout routine he had from 1996-2002, it was insane.
In this period, Tiger made swing on the principles just like Rory and other contemporary players. The features different from his latest swing in this video are: 1. He placed the left arm before the chest and placed the right arm behind the chest all the way. 2. He hump the back all the way. 3. He don't use the power from the top side of shoulders. So he sallow down, eliminated the pulling up of shoulders, instead he relaxed the part above chest, made the extension/flexion, means to make the arms away from/closed to the front body center line, by the Serratus anterior/Serratus posterior which is common for every body to do daily movement like to clap mosquito with hands.
What’s even more impressive is he did that with a Nike Sasquatch driver, irons, and wedges…but probably not …more like Mizuno! And what the heck happened to mcCord and Feherty?!?!
I have something to personally point out to all golfers who want to pick the solid golf swing, one which will give yea a solid game. It can can give you an edge over every golfer. And to add to it get a putting stroke with the highest putting accuracy.
I just noticed something I’ve never really payed attention to. His driver barely flexed. He’s using a super stiff shaft. I literally just ordered a x stiff shaft because I think the flex in my shaft is causing my slice problems on my driver and woods. Hoping it helps! And seeing this makes me think it will.
The best way to fix a slice is through technique, not equipment. I recommend that you learn how to draw the ball, ideally with the help of an instructor. Good luck!
Golf Grouch well, I got my stiff shaft 2 days ago and its helping with my unintentional slice and feels much better in controlling the ball. I like it much better than the shaft that was originally on my driver. I can actually draw the ball much easier now as well. To much flex for a hard swinger can cause problems. I’m not an expert by no means but I do know that Pros use stiffer drivers for better control so their must be some kind of evidence behind it. Equipment won’t make you better if you absolutely suck but certain equipment can definitely improve your game. Also I’ve never used a trainer or an expert, all self taught until here recently when I started back playing after 8 years off I’ve been watching UA-cam videos on ways to improve. I’ve been playing for about 3 months now and I’m shooting low 80’s. I played for about 3 years when I was in my 20’s and was shooting high 70’s. Regardless I’ll stick to it and get it figured out without an overrated trainer.
Truth Seeker I have the opposite reaction. If a shaft is too whippy ,or light it cause me to pull hook/snap hook. A stiffer flexes causes me to slice more ,and hate golf more as a mishit just feels awful in an x.
Golf is hard, I wish it were easier. The ball is so small. And when it doesn't have a nice lie it is very hard to hit. And unless you have a lot of money it is hard to practice on real fairway type grass. Practicing on turf at the local driving range just doesn't cut it; it doesn't simulate real fairway, so it's impossible to get good. I gave up sadly.
It was that ridiculous dipping swing that did the back and the excessively quick snapping back of the left knee that did the knee in, now his swing is far less impact on the body
I was there on the 18th green when he won his 13th Major.. Will never forget it. Thanks Tiger :)
@google Google lol I'm gonna find you someday
Nice to watch.
His mechanics are pretty envious.👍💪
Every golf instructor," generate power from the legs , the swing starts in the legs"
*Tiger swings*-" LOOK HOW QUIET HIS LEGS WERE! WOW!".
Instruction is overrated..you gotta figure out what works for you
look at hips w the the driver swing
"2 men say they are Jesus, one of them has to be lying"
its the hips not the legs ! wrong instructions 💯
This commentator gets dumber and dumber every time I listen to him.
after years of that nice swing it tears your back up
Thats when he swung out of his shoes everytime.
Bryson is on the same path

“Burlingame” by E.S. Posthumus, the music at the beginning is my favourite one in golf, always gives me chills.

The GOAT
if you take a athletic person and teach them the game of golf they will kick your ass every time
Athletic does not inherently mean you will grasp the mechanics of a game. Plenty of athletes have tried golf and failed miserably.
Yeah that’s why Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley are the world’s best golfers LOL good one

I love watching tiger woods
Turns out that Tiger is pretty good.

NO 💩 🐅🐅🐅🐅🐅
99% of us have our hands to high at impact and notice where the end of club points at the ground between him and the ball,
Yuup
Where has tiger gone ......
How do I get my swing to look exactly like tiger?
Royce Martin left leg rotation really helps its phenomenal
Royce Martin also get a mirror or vid camera and try to mimic Tiger videos of his swing the best you can !
Wayyyyyy harder then it seems
Just takes dedicated practice. You can do it. You also need to have the strength and flexibility he has
Start golf at 2 hit 1000 balls a day plus 9 holes. Practice putting from dusk til dawn for 16 years its easy
This is the malaska move coming into the hit
Oh please.
Goat!
That's because he's hitting a low cut. Where do they find these guys

I have been playing longer than tiger woods and he is better than me! It is our new generation! Or golf talent skipped a generation with me???

A stiff shaft will make you slice even more...
Your slice is not the equipment. It is your swing path and club face through impact.
