    I remember being a teenager in Bed-stuy walking past a park when I heard this for the first time!!! It absolutely stopped me in my tracks!! Truly legendary hip hop!! No selling drugs, or shooting and killing!!! Remember my Adidas and they are not used as felon shoes!!

      @Grym okay I kind of mis-spoke. What I meant by saying that hip hop is "dead" was that its no longer in the mainstream. How often do you hear any of the above mentioned MCs on the radio ? The new garbage ass rap is shoved down everyones throats especially the youth. And they pretend to like it bc everybody else does. How often do you see brothers rapping on corners n sh*t or a new school rapper that doesnt use autotune.

    This is so classic , 2 phases of rap... The treacherous 3 was fading out and Sucker MC's came out and kept rap going. Kool Moe D and them let them know they were original, But RUN DMC let them know that "The Winds Of Change" was in the air !!! #raphistorian

    "Fly like a dove, I come from up above" was the go to rhyme back in the day. I remember I bought this cassette when it came out and was the first to have it at my school and dubbed it for everyone. I spent all my allowance on blank tapes. :/

    I vaguely remember watching this!! It appeared only once, saturday afternoon on local network television, maybe 1985? I remember being disappointed that the following week it was gone. It was just a Pilot episode, I guess.

    This show was called 'Grafitti (sp?) Rock' and it came on WPIX channel 11 in NYC. It came on once. I'm glad somebody archived this!!! I thought I'd never see it again. It's a rare classic...
