They were dead in that crowd, not respecting the legends...rakim was disrespected by that crowd, plain b.s.
LL's performance was lightyears better than Rak's. Stage presence was all he needed. Legends in the game, yes. But nobody touches LL in live performances @@Giselle_Glam594
Thank you . L l cool j killed it respectfully. Rakim the goat
I miss this music 🎵❤
LL brought the fire launcher with him. What a stage presence at that age. Damn!
I nearly cried when i saw dababy and sexyredd opened the show, and then i saw the nominations for the best upcoming artist. I said mann I'll be back later. Thank god these OG's showed up and saved the awards show.
Same...I literally felt the same. But glad I hung in there to see real Hip-Hop on stage.
😂😂😂😂.da baby sexy redd are complete garbage. I don't even look and these generation of rappers no more.i thank God that who will call rappers the old G showd up.rahkim and cool j.
That show is trashy and rakim was disrespected by that crowd
@@Giselle_Glam594 Yes indeed!
Not for nothing this is their time. We had our time. I come from the black moon era of hip hop therefore today’s music is not for me and i fully understand that. I can’t say that today’s music is trash just because my musical taste doesn’t understand it.
When rap music was clean, topic-driven, and positive. 👏🏿👏🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Rakim will always be one of my favorite lyricists & MCs but LL Cool J stole the show. Unreal the energy that he brings at that age.
Omg wish i was there my favorite mc RAKIM.. y no one is up on their feet.. LL. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 True mc ..
That leg kick was crazy!
Rap never elevated past these 2. The DJing, MCing, actual beats you can dance to. Pure Rap!!
And lyrics u can understand, not that mumble mouth “ rapping “ I don’t knock anyone that’s rocking the mic but when u right the mic pleeeeez rock the mic 🎤….right !!

This performance was so dope I’m a avid Eric B fan … live from Long Beach California
One thing about LL is he’s gonna put on a show fr…good breath control 👏🏽
That's what I was thinking. All that dancing jumping and moving and he didn't miss a beat!!! 😳🔥🔥🔥
I’m a hip-hop head .. but as a kid .. I knew who this guy was and his music was moving and inspiring
