Milner plays left mid Right mid left back Right back box to box mid. He can tackle he can dribble he can pass. He might not be the best in any position but he understands each role and plays it competently. Players like him play well in a fluid mid. England will always struggle when they dont know how to use these players. Klopp did to telling effect.
