this is amazing - i'm so happy they started making dot pads. great for design and sketching stuff out. before this I couldn't find a really good dot grid pad
Woah. That stockroom looks like a cool place to be. And that's just the paper one. Do you have a room stocked to the brim with fountain pens too? That must be so cool.
The Rhodia dotPad's dots are- unfortunately- a little bit TOO subtle for me- I can't really see them very well at all unless I write with my head quite close to the paper (I am very nearsighted, though, so I can take off my glasses and write with my nose practically on the paper). Otherwise, they are GREAT. I just LOVE the quality of the Rhodia paper!!! Now if they only made loose-leaf, ruled notebook paper...
ilikepieism Likewide, I'm not much of a pencil guy! This is some pretty slick paper though, so as long as you're okay with that it'll work well with your pencils. It's ideal for fountain pens because it resists ink soaking into it, that doesn't really matter for your use, though. The dots are awesome though. It's worth a shot. -Brian Goulet
I just got the no. 16, I believe it's A5. It's great but I want something toothier and with slightly more spaced out dots (I have to write double spaced since they're so compact on the notebook I bought). Any recommendations?
All of the notebooks we offer have the same basic dot grid pattern, with the same spacing. There might be other brands out there, but I'm not too familiar with them. As far as a feedback and toothiness go, Leuchtturm would be the option if you want to stick with dot grids. If not, G. Lalo or Original Crown Mill paper/stationery are definitely the most textured option we have. Gives a lot of feedback for writing, you're not sliding all over the place. - Colin
+The Goulet Pen Company thanks! Actually, I tried one of my Moleskine notebooks and it was perfect. Perfect line spacing, slight off-white shade, and texture. I always read people think Moleskine is not fountain pen friendly though, but (aside from lacking a dot grid) it was exactly what I was after. I just want perforated sheets for writing letters, so maybe the ones you recommended could work out. Thanks again!
I have the A5 size. It's great. ^_^ But I do wish they'd offer their books, journals with dot grids in extra white. So far they only seem to offer extra white in pads.
They've expanded recently into their A5 webnotebooks & staplebound notebooks. Here's the list of the dot-grid Rhodia options: www.gouletpens.com/notebooks/c/10/?sortBy=productName%2Basc&facetValueFilter=Tenant~Brand%3Arhodia%2CTenant~Ruling_Type%3Adot_grid - Colin
Thanks. ^_^ Bookmarked the A5 side staple bound book in extra white. Does it lay pretty flat? Are the staples and the book in general pretty solid and flexible? No reviews yet. That's a great price at $3.75. I'd buy a few of those at once just to be well stocked.
It doesn't lay flat on it's own, but you can bend it and add pressure for it to do so. Very flexible notebook option and the staple-binding is well made. Good option for sure! - Colin
A few years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said " Get the kids out of the house, we'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue". The "clown statue" was actually a killer that escaped from jail. If you dont post this on 10 videos tonight the clown will be in your bed at 3:00am with a chainsaw in his hand. sorry dont want this to happen to me

The Rhodia dotPad A3 is amazing. I love it. I am using it for mathematics :)

That's crazy! The pads are made practically right next door to you in France...

Just got the Rhodia dotpad no. 18. I find it's great for mindmapping. I haven't found the largest sized one in my nearest stationery store though.
El papel velum es lo mismo que el albanene?
How's the paper with pencil? Rhodia dot pads seem to be the best dot grid paper especially considering the price but I'm not much of a pen guy

You're too fast! I just uploaded the video and it takes an hour or so for UA-cam to finish processing it. The quality will improve then ;)
whats happened to your camera? its really fuzzy, besides that great review :)
