I think when you are married you should go out as a couple find friends or married because if you're hanging around with single friends or friends who have different values and using you it will destroy your relationship not just in the Philippines I've seen it happen many many times to a lot of my friends love the videos keep up the good work hopefully people will listen to you guys

Very true about setting boundaries. I have made that mistake with relationships and just bitten my lip, gotten resentful, hurt, jealous, etc when I should have spoken up. But also I have overstepped boundaries too and caused issues in my life. Respecting each other this way, accepting to adapt to each other, which could mean letting go of things that make the other happy - as long as it doesn't mean unfairly changing you into someone you are not.

It also helps to not lie about things that is a fast way to end things quickly. The truth can hurt but lies will kill the relationship.

Speaking as a twice divorced man, my observation is that a situation or circumstance changes during the course of the relationship that the woman sees as a bridge of contention. Men, for the most, don't change. What you see is what you get. Women may take a man and hope he changes somewhere during the relationship. Men hope the woman they choose doesn't change. More often than not, she changes, then says she outgrew him, or he was trying to control me, or he was abusive. Men are concerned with the wife's happiness and tries to give her what she wants. Most women won't do the same for the husband. If women take the title of the video to heart, marriages would last. Marriages don't last because someone gets selfish and makes the relationship about them instead of the family.

I am so happy that both of you are back to updating your respective channel - You are my FAVOURITE youtube folks and your content is always informative, balanced and genuine. No relationships are perfect, because no individual is perfect, but its the willingness to put the effort and make sure you find a partner that shares as many of your core values that will enable people to make it through. Those only attracted to how someone looks will be upset when their partner ages because we all do - I love Mia's ways of expressing herself and the way she laughs and covers her mouth makes her so adorable. You guys make a great couple and I wish you both the most happiest time together.

Paul seems wiser, more relationship focused and considerate, especially compared to the time back in Mactan riding our Covid with Gio. HAPPY NEW YEAR and best wishes

A night out with the girls is a recipe for disaster. If they’re single, and the drinks are flowing, it’s an almost guaranteed disaster to a relationship. I can see it being even worse if they’re jealous of their friend because she has a foreign bf.
I have to disagree with you guys about something. It’s obviously good to be supportive of your partner, but the relationship should come first. If what they want in life isn’t going to be good for the relationship in the long run, that should really be discussed. I’m not sure where you want to work as a nurse, Mia. If it’s the USA though, I don’t think that’s good for the relationship in the long run. Sorry.

Setting boundaries is important, especially when getting married. Taking care of your husband or boyfriend should be the first priority before hanging out with friends. For us women, that's part of our responsibility. I agree with you guys!
Sitting like a monkey while eating is something Filipinos are used to. 😅

It comes down to trust ,If you are so insecure that you cannot trust your wife to have a night out separately then ultimately it could lead to resentment.

    Happy anniversary!
I agree. Even though I’m single and never married. I’m saving my virginity for my gift to my future wife after marriage. I’m Andrew. But my Momma and Dad are still married (since May 1980). And my Grandma and Grandpa (maternal grandparents) also showed me that love is a constant decision. And a relationship is work. Spot on.
I was always taught happy wife … happy life. As I understand it … women are the gatekeepers of sex.

Communication is key. Sometimes you have chose your 'battles' because you don't have to 'win' all the time. If its not important then who cares which direction it goes. Some people fall in to a habit of trying to get their way all the time which is not healthy for a relationship.

I remember back when you two first dated, Paul had an attitude never to marry again, but you both communicated much better than most. I am many years older than Paul, and I predicted marriage would eventually occur, even during the official breakup. I could not see so much communication fail. 😊😊😊 Most fail to explain, fail to listen properly. Good luck, you two.

Happy Husband, Happy Life? Ofc course. Men love to cite the bible, saying that wives serve their husbands, but conveniently or ignorantly leave out the bible also says husbands serve their wives, and any husband who does not is not fit to serve. Husbands serve their wives and their wives serve them in return. Its about service to one another. Every successful relationship has this quality at some level

Mia so do you think most Phillipina women have the capacity to grow out of Tampo like you did ?
I was in a relationship with a Indonesian lady about 8 years ago before l knew anything about Tampo in South East Asia women.
She was fine initially very sweet and kind but then packed a tampo one day on me.
I told her to pack her bags.
My thinking was tampo was something she had ingrained in her and would never change and l did not want to have to deal with that low level of immaturity.
