Valentines spin on the Unicorn Burst technique 💜❤️🤍

This is a variation of the “Unicorn Burst” technique, with a Valentine’s spin on it.
I’m using a 30 ounce skinny from Stainless Depot. Here’s a referral link for $10 off $75 rwrd.io/fs33e0g?s.
I base painted with Rustoleum 2x Candy Pink and used the acrylics from the art department at Walmart. You can use almost anything you have on hand. I then coated it with Tack it (you can find that here: amzn.to/3qPEYI6).
The glitters used came from the January subscription box from www.FransGlitterAndMore.com. If you don’t already get this subscription, you’re missing out on great new releases! These particular colors should be available on her site around the 1st of February. I used Carmella fine for the base, Carmella chunky around the center, and a mix of First Kiss Chunky and Carmella Chunky (I’m calling it Carmella’s Kiss!) at the top and bottom.

Hey glad to see you back doing tumbler tutorials.You have been missed.I did a unicorn burst with an easter spin on it last year. I spray painted the ends white and I think Kristy (the original unicorn burst girl) did as well. But the white spray paint softens the ends and the streaks.Like you said so many ways to do this and yours is still so beautiful.
I definitely plan to do a regular one as well. They’re so pretty!

When you use the Tackett method should you always seal them before you epoxy?
I do because the flat surface tends to repel epoxy. It’s a small step to avoid a headache! 😆
Yes .. just a quick spray with flat clear or a quick layer of Polycrylic satin finish.
