Recently, a new fanmade geometry dash spinoff released on the gd servers called Geometry Dash Deeper Space - a really cool 2.2 spinoff/level pack that is on a list level collection within the gd servers!

Very consice and to the point review, thank you very much 🫡, to speak on it a little. The reason it’s not a direct robtop spinoff , is because i know me and the other creators in the list are capable of the exact mimicry of robs style, but to be honest its way more interesting to add your own flare to the levels , space invaders is obviously the biggest example, i wouldn’t call it a robtop level, i would call it a robtop styled level with mine and lazerblitz’s creator quirks in play. Much can be said to varying degrees on the other levels too.
When i was directing this project at the beginning i kept telling everyone to cut down, cause rob would never would never do that, but i kept on feeling bad about saying that so i said fuck it, id rather let everyone enjoy building and embrace their own quirks as creators than suck the soul out of them to conform to robs own style of level design.
Space invaders is insane though glad there was so much creative freedom

Just cuious: is this spin-off game ever going to be continued? Will it ever be made into its own app like many others did?
Really good review, for the most of it my thoughts are super similar. Very creative levels, I don't think "RobTop" style was a top priority but I think that's also why some of them shine so much

*DeeperSpace Level Rankings:*
8th: How We Win - The level is glitched for some reason and is literally impossible, so I never got to actually play it.
7th: Fire Exit - Very buggy level, and the four corridor part is pretty difficult to understand at first. The ship corridor gives too little time to react.
6th: Space Invaders - This is the only level I couldn't beat FOR A FAIR REASON (skill issue). It looks super amazing and I can tell it's fun to play once you learn it. I probably won't go through the bother though.
5th: Groovy Tower - This is where the decisions got difficult. I chose Groovy Tower because it just isn't as interesting as the other four levels.
4th: Phone Me First - Very fun level to play and I like the coin placements! It's kind of generic but still a great level.
3rd: Cosmic Dolphin - This level looks AMAZING!!! The beatdrop with the swing is super epic and the 3D effects are even better!! The gameplay is also good for the easiest level in the game.
2nd: On the Run - As the video said, very fast paced level. The sync is super amazing and satisfying! Very fun gameplay and cool decorations.
1st: ClownParty - The most unique level in the pack! The many twists in the level, like the 3D carousel part and the part where you jump upside down, gave me goosebumps. The gameplay is fun and sightreadable!

@@NotBest713Here’s all the parts that make this level frustrating:
1st coin: The gravity lever is very hard to detect, but when you find it, you won’t ever forget it. Also, the last yellow orb you need to hit to stabilize the gravity often does not send you high enough, causing you to crash right before the gravity pad. Even if you cleared that part, the 2nd low gravity part is even more tedious. The gaps to avoid the enemies are pretty tight, and the low gravity transition from the ship to the wave is frame-perfect if your FPS is on the lower end.
The 3rd and 4th Acceleration Wheel: Even though you fully charge the wheel and release on time, sometimes it isn’t enough to clear the jump, causing you to crash and die.
Mini Swing: A lot harder than it looks. Swing is already an under/utilized game mode, and a mini swing just makes it more agonizing to pass.
I’m sorry you had to read all this, but just trying to provide an explanation. I’ll have you know I have 75% on this level in Normal mode, and I beat it in practice.

@@NotBest713 Hate to be that guy, but it’s a skill issue he has. Thats why he’s saying it’s “impossible”. I mean, GD Colon of all people beat it, as has many other people.
I really liked all of them. As soon as I saw the use of the low gravity at the end of the last level I was absolutely astonished. It's time to start making use of all these features just like in these levels. For so long we've had nothing new, so being creative was quite difficult, but now that we do have it, most levels are just 2.1 levels but enhanced with 2.2 features, so it makes this spinoff stand out even more to me.

I LOVE this. Everything is just executed so well
Gonna be completely honest, I think Space Invaders is a medium demon. It took me about the same amount of time as other fairly difficult mediums, but half the time of basically any hard demon, including easier ones like Nine Circles and White Women. It’s not even close to insane demon, some of the easiest insanes like Magma Bound, Windy Landscape, and CraZy II absolutely rock Space Invaders in difficulty.
I think this is one of the best 2.2 projects so far, all the levels are very fun and creative and I like how vanilla it feels at times while also adding its own flavor. Space Invaders shouldve been legendary

my least favorite level of deeper space is Fire Exit for the sole reason of the glitch that softlocks you and breaks the song if you end with the ball or the spider in the sideways part
