No it doesn't. And ever is way better and also emerald realm is better too. There are so many levels better deco than this and this got the first mythic it makes me really mad.

Yes I've completed the lvl.. the deco is amazing and the story is soo cool! Plus gameplay is soo fun and good! Annd has alooot of cool secrets! The mechanics are soo fun!

fun fact: robtop rated coaster mountain a mythic, but 30 seconds later he thought that it wasn't really good enough for a mythic. so that's why it's the first legendary level
The reason this is mythic is because this doesn't feel as a level but as a whole game. It has cutscenes, NPC interactions, and many levels. It's also very long.

i honestly think this level deserved it cuz you can see how much time they put into making it perfect
Honestly this level is really good, it has enough depth and lore to be rated as mythic and is overall pretty fun (expect for the propellor part, that part's a bit hard)
What ruins the level for me is the balance of the last part I lost 2 hours there because it went from 7 stars to insane demon for some reason

@@vok9009Yeah, I think this rating is not too much about the pixel art style, but more about the creativity and the gameplay.
You are actually very lucky that you decided to explore near the start. If you don't explore at the beginning, the level will warn you to explore or else it will activate Hardcore Mode, which deletes all checkpoints after the start of the desert.
it actually didnt feel that hard (didnt beat it cuz i had to do stuff) but im sad the difficulty face isnt different and there were so many other levels that deserved mythic that didnt get it. also the notification mod on geode is cool because i instantly knew "YOOOOO FIRST MYTHIC IS OUT"

The song used in the Mountain Tower gave me memories the moment I heard it. It's called How To Adventure by Dunderpatrullen, and I never actually thought it would be used somewhere. But a few months back, I used it for a level in a rhythm game I play, A Dance of Fire and Ice. It's not released or anything, but I had a lot of fun making it, and I thought that would be the last (aside from my spotify playlist) time I would hear it ever be used somewhere. If I had a nickel for every time I had that feeling and it ended up being used in geometry dash, I would have two nickels (I also had the same experience with How We Win in Deeper Space).
The fact that we are starting to have full on half hour gameplay games within the first months of 2.2.

This was the first custom platformer level I played and honestly, after not playing geometry dash for a few years, it was a breath of fresh air for custom levels and this was everything a platformer should be in my opinion

Although this level isn’t preferred to be a mythic, it certainly does look like an entirely different style of geometry dash level, cutscenes, dialogue, long gameplay, it’s pretty much a level currently ahead of the community.
Fun fact: when you get the coin at 21:16 if you drop to the left there is a congregation jumpscare
I played the level a day or two ago and thought it was pretty good! My complaints are that the dungeon section was really hard compared to everything else, that there's some very long gaps between checkpoints that got a bit annoying when going for more difficult coins, and that it isn't clear what those little distortion things in the first area do. On the positive side, I thought finding the collectibles was fun and it was nice that there's slightly more than you need to get the user coins so it isn't that big of a deal if you miss some. That propeller gamemode later on controlled super well, I kinda wish it was made into an official thing!
For a bit of context, my brother is really into gd and while I haven't played it much in the past several years and am not particularly great at the standard levels' gameplay, I've been having a lot of fun with the platformer levels! He told me this was the first mythic level and I just had to try it for myself. It's down to a hard demon as of me writing this but I personally think it's more of a medium, either way it's easily the highest difficulty rated level I've ever beaten. Don't think I've ever done a standard mode demon more difficult than like deadlocked or the nightmare lol
the level is great in various aspects, like the animations, the atmosphere, the NPCs, but i honestly don't think it deserves the mythic rate, more than an open world, feels just like a regular platformer level (in the way it progress) the gameplay was a bit annoying, specially in the part of the underground tower and the mountain tower (which doesn't feel like towers at all), the underground tower for those spike balls moving too slow and being too big, considering that you have to turn back and making in a specific time, also those moving spikes at the deeper area, where you can easily fall into one of them since you can't see what's under, i personally did not enjoyed the propeller part, because of how it works and how the obstacles are placed, that "dark goo" has very unclear hitboxes, you don't really know if it's going to be a hit or miss before dying sometimes, and the propeller itself, the parts where you have to plane into an area with obstacles below and above, it feels more like rolling a dice to see if you're gonna plane properly or either fly too high or fall like a rock, also the narrative, the ending just felt anticlimactic, because Torres true intentions are revealed way too early, so the ending doesn't feel like a surprise at all, and at last point, the player (you), the lord of darkness says that he is going to trap you and you're never going to escape, and the player is like "ayo chill bro", it gave me Forspoken vives (a character that takes everything as a joke, well probably I'm exaggerating a bit, but it would be nice if the player had an actual impact for the final revelation)
And if you wonder what kind of level deserves a mythic rate in my opinion, here is two that i think they did

I think the level still deserves mythic, to be honest. Yes, should the creator probably have had someone translate to not so broken english? Yes. Should the story have been better planned? Yes. Is all the gameplay as smooth and balanced as possible? No. But even with these things, i still absolutely think this should be mythic. Its absolutely amazing

Personally I felt as though the black goo had very forgiving hitboxes. Also the propeller plane as you said was confusing but it’s actually all skill because if you start holding when going down, you go down faster and it basically keeps your general momentum
This is way better than slash or backrooms ngl

fun fact there is a hardcore mode in this level and all you gotta do to trigger it is to collect 0 silver coins
it basically removes all the checkpoints unti desert islands

platformer isnt the same as normal. also WHAT is 30 seconds of actual gameplay/original content and goes over the memory limit, making it unplayable on vanilla pc

it took 2 years to make WHAT. 2.2 hasn't even been out for 6 months. it couldnt have taken much time or effort to make this platformer. it deserves a rating, but certainly not mythic
