2003 Tundra V8 4x4, rear lift Torch Offroad Add A Leaf

In this video I go over the installation and thoughts on the Torch Offroad Add a Leaf kit. I recently replaced the front coilovers and rear struts on my 2003 Tundra (V8 4WD) as the old suspension wasn't doing a very good job on the road. When I had a heavy load in the bed of the truck it was still coming down more than I wanted so decided to go with these Add a Leafs. With a heavy load in the bed of the truck they did a great job of properly supporting the back end of the truck. For normal everyday driving they still felt great with good support and lift at the back end. Probably gave me 1.75-2" lift over the stock suspension. With a load in the bed of the truck and even moderate weight on the trailer they do a good job of supporting the back end.

Shoot were you supposed to add that bottom leaf back on there? No wonder I had to raise my lift shackles up a notch. Did I just defeat the purpose of the add a leaf😅🤦🏽‍♂️

Thanks for checking out the video. I didn’t even think about using it as a replacement. Oh no. I hope you still have the original leaf (s) you took out

Ha, that was the rear door on my camper topper deciding it didn’t want to stay open. As I lowered the truck down the sudden drop caused the door to swing down and close rather abruptly.
