Hopefully the Semi settings help, so many times the ball just goes the opposite of the direction I'm pushing or even a different power to what I'm pushing.

For through balls should I be aiming at the intended receiver or at the space I want to be passing into? Sometimes I aim ahead because that’s where I want the ball to go but I’m not sure if it would automatically go in front since it’s a through ball.

Extra tip: don't use the driven pass with your goalkeeper. 90% of the time it will go out.
Even if you don't , it will always go out after the 85th min. And the opponent will always score due to this. 😆😂

I think ea went hard this year on mechanics, some are still a little glitch but in general it forces u to pay attentention a bit more. Balance agility and vision affects a players ability to pull off passes too because whilst being closed down or being in an odd position and using someone like verattii or de bruyne they are able to pull off a pass versolus someone like rodri who has good passing stats but not that agile. I find smoking some weed has me beasting too lol could just be me tho lol.

Double tap triangle+L1 although sometimes it lobs it to a wrong player but works most of the time

fifa23 has one irritating game glitch. In some occasion when i do a lob through pass to my forwards, two forwards initially has same chances of getting the ball. But the game already pre-select the forward for me. However, when both forwards get closer to the balls, another forward has a better position to receive the ball but No matter how i Right stick switch, the game doesnt allow me to switch. Stupid
This is all great but can you actually say what buttons to press. Sometimes it's not easy looking at the controller in the top right while looking at the screen on when to use the ball roll for example

Guys, I've been watching hundreds of tutorials...they only helped me make it to Division 5. After this...the game is completely broken, not fun to play at all and a complete waste of time. A lot of players who dribble like their controller runs a script, knowing exactly where the space to pass is, or when to dribble.
I got it, there are players who train hard and play hundreds of hours every week...but come on...none of the situations I encountered looked like things in your videos. The passing speed of these opponents I encountered is surreal...I don't even have time to switch between 2 players and he's already in my penalty box. When I go on a counter on the other hand, in 2 seconds his shitty CB catches up with Messi or Ginola, with 90+ pace and also dispossesses them.
Also, when they are in my box, they dribble through my defenders at close range like through cheese...when I reach their box, I lose the ball in 2 seconds, no matter how hard I protect the ball...what on Earth is this crap?! Can someone enlighten me how to beat these shitty players?!
Boras I hope you read this message. When my attackers get a high through ball, they always seem to struggle in the first touch to directly sprint in the goal’s direction. They often wait a little bit before they take the ball directly to the goals directions. Is there a button or timing needed when you want to take the first touch quiclky in forward sprinting direction when getting that high through ball?
flicking the right stick forward as you take the touch should take it in your stride

2023 and this is still a game geared towards goals, defense feels clunky and almost all 5050 balls go to the attack
These are things I do every time I play and it seems to be with just me or my team the players are waiting for Christmas before passing and by God has to take an extra 2-3 steps before attempting the pass. It's super annoying and makes me look like I play like shit.

What about L1 + Double tap triangle? It's a more precise version of L1 + triangle.
with this lenghty stuff. unless you have halland type of player , it wont work. most defenders are strong, tall, and fast. only works for me when the game glitches or they try to dominate the ball but but my player steal.
If you do this, can u apply power on the first trianglr tap? Or is it just a quick triangel dubble tap

i can send you a video, when i aim at them, it goes "somewhere", when i just press x without aiming, the chances it gets to my teammate is much higher. so no, not helpful.
The prom I have is when I push the button the ball goes really really slowly or if I push it too hard the ball fucking flies in a group doesn’t go to where it supposed to go and I don’t know how to get the middle whatever I’ve been using the player name indicator above my head to see the power bar instead of looking on the screen I see all the pros doing that are all the people online doing it so I figured I’d try it but that’s what really pissing me off that I don’t wanna play the fucking game it’s because I’m either hit the button and I’m thinking of hitting it too hard I don’t hit it hard enough or whatever I think it’s I’m not sure what I need to do

if you play assisted controls you don't need aim or tutorial. Just press the button lol
one tip, make ground pass semi aswell.. omg so much better. this fifa blocking is disgusting

Couldn't handle new gen gameplay. Bought an Xbox with another ultimate edition to play old gen. It feels better, but still pretty terrible, especially the delayed reactions from players and heavy touches are still present. I couldn't even qualify for weekend league after 3-3, these last 4 games made me quit this stupid game. A million coins plus teams and very good players in these last 4 games in quali. I thought Fifa 22 on PC was sweaty, but this was so much worse.
Im sorry to say it bro, but if you can't even qualify for WL maybe fifa is not the game for you. You need to practice it more and more. Im still not great, but i play sweaty. A lot of skillmoves, passing etc.

Fifa's through balls are nothing close like the ones we see in football. In fifa through balls are always favouring the opposition player, instead of the game designers making your opponent trying reading the through ball, the make the through go close to your opponent or straight to him 90 percent of the time, very poor, I mean very poor. That's why when you have two attackers and one is on an off side position and the other on side, pass the ball to the one on side and the game will forcibly send it to the one in an offside position.
