    How would you force a defrost on a control board unit. Have roper 18, would like to test defrost circuit.

      Find thermostat there will be a small hole that you can turn a screw with small screw driver and force into defrost

      N/A - no timer, this has a small control board.

      @@lulubliz6405 if you can find a service manual. There may be a jumper that will do the same.

    So if freezer gets too warm in defrost mode... thermostat would stop defrost mode???

      Yes its a added safety. If not those plastic parts would melt

      May be defrosting poping and cracking of ice build up. As it starts to melt
