Can we just appreciate the three beat-boxers at 3:15. It's hard to come by such amazing people that have the talent to do this!
TBH thats the bit i like least it's a bit like rap I can see the technical skill but it just leaves me cold
Tanner fan here
@@Medicina2024 You understand what beatboxing is, right? It literally originated with rap and hip-hop. If it didn't sound like it, I'd be worried.
I think it’s all the beat boxers that have been in VocalPoint up until this video
@dhietheowrgh912 I feel like they did Tanner dirty in this video. Dude is nuts with beat boxing.
WHO IS SINGING IF I DIE YOUNG?! THAT VOICE IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL AND I WANT TO HEAR MORE
Ryan Innes
i watch this like 30 times a day and am always surprised that it only has 148 thousand views. this thing is a work of art on every level.
+SolarSailors We're so glad you like it! Your support means the world to us! :)
please give my number to the greaser leader. 2dreamy4me
Thank you so much !!!
well they kinda got more what they deserve, they are at 1.280.852 right now, so, not that bad (:
can we please get a musical TV series made about this small town that all happens to sing a capella in the 1950s featuring songs from the future? im not even kidding this owuld be great, at least get the current BYU vocal point members to star in it. it could be a soap opera with singing... so an opera.
+Rick Harris That's... a brilliant idea actually. BYU TV oughta get right on it!
Have you tried the show Galavant? It's very similar to your idea. Original songs though, not covers.
Wow thank you so much, that trailer is great! Also, I am fan of Alan Menken who wrote songs for it. Why did I not know of this?
Can this be a thing?
its called glee
I don't think people realise just how incredible this truly is. Thanks guys.
I was gone when he started singing 'If I Die Young'
+rebecca archibold - That particular Vocal Point alumnus has done a lot with his singing career since being in the group. You should check out his music! His name is Ryan Innes :)
+BYU Vocal Point That's who I thought that was.
what about the guys from the sing-off? there was a guy named Ross who wailed on Footloose I think, is he in the video?
He is in the inner circle at the end singing "Baby."
WASNT HE FROM THE VOICE?!?!?!?!?! HE WAS MY FAVORITE!

2:45 - 3:07 IS HEAVEN
So much talent in one room, I can barely stand it!
Honestly, this was an incredible feat of arrangement. Whoever put this together needs a job doing this for a living. My hat goes off to you, sir. Having talent singing is awesome. The one-shot was really cool. But add to these a really well-done interwoven medley of so many songs in different keys and meters... Absolutely phenomenal. Loved the ending.
Are we not gonna mention how smooth the barbershop singing Shut Up and Dance slid into frame at 1:03??
This actually brought tears of joy to my eyes. I know they're all cheesy pop songs but the way you arranged it made me extremely happy.Thank you so much for making this!
Why have I only just discovered this?!? This is everything!!
何これ!!すごい!英語わからんけどとーーってもきれい!こんなにイケメンで美声な人に囲まれたらキュン死にしちゃうぞー❤️
4:03 was such a wonderful transition, I think I gasped.
still one of the greatest mashup 👍👍👍
2024⬇️⬇️
Nailed every step, every note, and every camera angle, all in one continuous take. That was impressive.
This is one of the best a capella medleys I've ever heard, not just by you all but by anyone. Amazing job vocal point!!
Err it’s got music?!
Watching this just made my day. Thank you Vocal Point current members and alum for making me smile after such a hard day.
Anyone else seriously love the description? 'Lots of songs by lots of people.'
Other than that, I absolutely loved my life in about 5 minutes. 'If I die Young' or 'Bless the Broken Road' are my favorite of this selection. Anyone else?
I love this. The singing, the costumes, it's everything.
Long after the show Glee has ended, we still have BYU Vocal Point 😁😜 amazing performance, as ever
This is one of the best a cappella mashups I've seen on UA-cam
2:10 NINJA!!!!
The only version of many of these songs I can actually stand. Incredible work, inspiring talent, and props to the tech crew who filmed it in one take even with the sea of movement and set pieces constantly moving in every direction.
HOLY SHOT THIS IS A CONTINUOUS SHOT!!
THAT'S INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT TO ACHIEVE, CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW MANY TIMES THEY TRIED THE ENTIRE CHOREOGRAPHY?!?!
Many. It was a long day.
Cried at the end! love love love! Why is there not a love button??
2:15 - the backstreet boy scouts killed me
I would like this comment but the halo fan in me can’t mess with that 117 number lol.
That's their director, McKay Crockett
How does this not have millions of views?!?!?
Simple, it has 3 million views.
This is insanely impressive. Can't imagine all the work that went into planning this. Keep killing it VP!
3:59 favorite part
2019💕Yea who's with me?
youtube randomly gave this to me in my recommends... and I'm not mad about it???
this is like my favorite thing in the universe right now
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me who the guy is singing If I Die Young??? My heart melted, his voice is so soothing and country 😭
+Casey Campbell That's the incredible Ryan Innes! Look him up! And yes, he really is THAT good. 😊
I wouldn't know where to begin praising this performance. Choreography and camera work are beyond brilliant. Wow! Very nicely done!
True contenders for the Barden Bella’s title
Vocal Point is like the Dread Pirate Roberts, always fresh new faces ready to take up the banner and keep the tradition, it never dies!
2:32 That one guy on the bottom left who messed up. I started laughing so hard xD
This is possibly my favorite thing to ever exist
can't wait for this song to be on spotify
+Jordan Avis It's there now! play.spotify.com/album/60y9qUaNJLqpGx0qvoWEvp
Absolute PERFECTION!! All the talent, the director and producers need to be commended big time for this production. This is NOT easy to produce. Awesome job everyone!
How many more green stamps do we have to collect for another one of these videos?
I don't know what is more fabulous about this. The costumes, the perfect vocals, or the perfect mash up!
"SONG CREDITS: Lots of songs by lots of people." XD
Johanna A. Florez:probably because there's too many songs to name off
Johanna A. Florez i died
Oh my God... They are so effin fabulous... They deserve millions and millions of subscribers. This blew me away. They also focus a lot on presentation and its always pleasing to watch too. Just Amazing!! ☺😄
i was like "is there gonna be a 1D song in this?" and then it's the first one
Haha 😂
Absolutely awesome!!! No words!!! Perfect!! Claps for the actors, camera man, staff, director!!!!!! Very Very Very Good!
this is my production group for my dance studio this year I’ve heard it so many times and every time I hear it I love it even more 🤍 I cant sing but I still sing it lol 😗
This could be a vaudeville or a music hall or this genre anyway. I really liked it. There are quite a few songs ... I didn't count them . Great show !
You guys are the best, I'm so glad I found you guys, you brighten my day, my life for that fact. Keep up the fun!
Nostalgia is real
Now we are in 2020 and I'm still loving this mashup 😍 you guys are incredible, I listen to BYU vocal point every single day... never get tired of it
Chills guys Literal chills
I just want to say that this might be the best thing I have ever seen. Ever. I can't stop watching it. It's so so so so so good. Love you guys!!!
My Heart will go on was by far my favorite in the mashup, from the harmonies to the dramatic vocals. Gorgeous!
I loved the 3 featured voice percussionists! so much talent in this video :) (also the streamer ninja made my day)
Little Plumblossom I just wish the beatboxing feature was a little longer haha
The guy who sung if I die Young😱😱😱😱his vocal....gosh
THAT NINJA MADE ME SPIT MY TEA. BLOODY HELL.
Are you sure that it is a not a scene from any movie ? Damn that was epic !!!!
Really enjoyed this! Music, voices, choreography, filming, props, wardrobe.....everything!! They were all great but I would have loved to hear more from the boy that sang "we were both young when i first saw you". Love his voice! Also the guy laying in the boat and the beat boxers :)
Watching this almost 3 months later and it still makes me smile so much! I couldn't imagine being apart of something so big and amazing!!
Okay, I was waiting for the 80s hits, so y'all better come out with an 80s mashup soon. This was great, by the way.
+CarryindaBannah - What a fantastic idea ;) Thanks so much!
+BYU Vocal Point PLEASE INCLUDE BON JOVI I NEED THIS.
This is the best choreographed performance that you have all done to date. Sooo many songs its amazing. I have been a fan of vocal point since the Instruments not Included Album in 1994 (I was eleven and my sister was attending BYU at the time). It is awesome to hear so many singers voices again. I recognize many of them.
+MegaLonewolf20 Thank you! Did you know Instruments Not Included was our *second* album? The first was only on cassette... "If Rocks Could Sing." It got re-released on CD... I think you can maybe still get it through the BYU Bookstore. 1994 is a long time ago :)
HOW THE HECK DID YOU DO THIS IN ONE SHOT?????? THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
My teacher Mrs. Day let us watch this is Chior today and I love it so much! You all are so good!
This video made me pleased as punch :-)
Captain Flowers?
Ok I know this came out more than 4 years ago but BABY CANNOT BE MASHED UP WITH VIVA LA VIDA HAVE YOU NO SHAME
One of my favorite parts is at the very end where you hear the guy in the back yell "CUT!!" And everyone FLIPS out. =) =)
Did you watch the behind the scenes video? It had been a very long day. :)
It's hard to do something like this in one take
I feel like such an old soul for freaking out about a real Osmond being in this video. This medley is AMAZING!!!
How does this not have sooooo many more views?????
read this 25 years title and thought "oh hey, old songs (like 70th/80th) and realized, I'm old knowing every song and it was my childhood ^^
Wow, this was absolutely EPIC! From beginning to end.
THAT was a PERFORMANCE.
If you watch it enough you start to notice the little details. Like when one guy isn't vogue-ing the same way as everyone else. or that boy scout that runs through the background trying to get to his spot on time. or when the lady accidentally(?) smacks the sexy doctor on her way down.
You also see the guys who played the camera operator and mic operator for the thing they were filming run through the crowd in the final chorus to get the mic and camera for the final shot
This is my current favorite video on the internet
Aw I'm so glad to see the alumni
Very talented artists.
Hugs from Brazil
What a great piece of work, I can only imagine the effort it took to finish, well done u lot....I loved it🇮🇪😃☘️🥰
First video... loved it! Subscribed... liked and watched it again.
I quickly had to edit this to say that I got goosebumps every time I watched this.
Haha well thanks for going the extra mile!! 😀
WOW what a ORGASMIC Mashup by a Awesome Acapella Group :) Keep up the good work guys.. All the way from Australia :)
Crying!!! How beautiful! So many awesome handsome talented meeeen!
Epic. Absolutely epic.
Music starts at 0:50
Good job!
This is absolutely the best mashup I have seen! Thumbs up everyone!
I remember in 1999 when they came to Boise, they performed for our choir class before the concert that night. We were star struck!! Still have their CD’s :)
Cool, was filmed at my high school.
Ok so I have watched this many times as it is one of my favorite Vocal Point covers. I finally just caught the "Pride Rock" and Lion King reference during that small snippet of the "coach" singing before the Titanic song. OMG I love that small touch into the background visuals.
This is absolutely brilliant!!! When I heard Mckay's voice, I almost shouted :p Also im so happy to see Ross, Kieth, and the other members in here♡xoxo from Japan
+Chocolate Oreo Thanks for watching! It was so fun to make this video with our alumni family! We appreciate your support :)
This is still one of your best and certainly one of my top favorites of all of your major Productions. This is Way Beyond excellent.
Who's the lead singer of the Greasers singing Payphone, he also lead Go the Distance, what's his name? Such a smooth voice...
Kyle Lemperle
stormbob thx
Paul Legge:oh yes because only saying someone's name would lead to a stalker that makes total sense right there NOT. it's not like they mentioned where he lived.
Let it go was clearly the best
Can they do "My heart will go on" or "god bless this broken road" PLEASEEEEEEES
Samuel RJ. Noon:they did do my heart will go on. The part on the boat. They also did bless the broken road they are just shortened to fit into the video.
And it's good to see some of the other guys again
hohooo this is why I subscribed some time ago
it's a pure awesomeness :D
I want it that way!!!! BSB 😍😍
"I think I'll try Des Moines." *dead* bahahahaha
It's 2022 and I just have found this just now oh my god so goood!!!
